I emailed through Yelp and before I knew it, the owner of the company, Lou, emails back! Ok, good start. So I call up and they were able to move some things around and get a crew out same day. When it came to the cost, at first was a bit skeptical since there was an upfront fee to just come out and not knowing the total cost but after reading the reviews and needing this work done, gave it a shot. Joe and his apprentice came to the house and go right to diagnosing the problem. They showed me where on the price chart I would be looking at to fix the problem and assured me of no extra fees. They got to work and really did a thorough job of diagnosing what the problem was with the electrical system. They were up in the attic, garage and all over the house till they fixed all the problems. They were professional, courteous and most of all... personable. They not only explained the work but showed me as well. The price came out to be about what I thought it was, but for the time and effort they put in, more than worth it. These guys are the real deal and I will not hesitate to call them again or recommend them to others.

Boca Electric completed the wiring for my outdoor kitchen including power for the exhaust fan, phantom screen, and refrigerator. They were professional, on time, and no surprise charges. The office staff also was very thorough and kept me up to date and sent me notifications when the electrician was on the way to our home.

Wow!! I can't even begin to explain the tremendous job that Boca Electrical Works did in our home. We had a fuse issue and ended up needing to replace our entire panel. There was an issue with a wire so they had to open up the wall. Once they were done, you wouldn't even know that there was a huge hole in the wall. They did a great job with covering it up and cleaning up everything that they did. I would recommend Boca Electrical Works to anyone needing electrical work done.

FIVE STARS IS NOT ENOUGH!!!!

Earlier this week our outdoor home lamp post was hit by lighting. With one quick after hours phone call the owner answered and was ready to dispatch a crew that evening, however we assessed the matter and decided to wait the next day.

Our home is over 40 years old and there are always unexpected surprises when dealing with services related issues. We had to rewire a line from the fuse box to the refrigerator electrical outlet and this was not an easy fix, it took time and patience while they needed to open up the wall near the fuse box. Although the damage was not severe, it was enough to cause us to have an unsettling week.

Once they completed their work you not could tell that we had any work done. They clean up, reattached and make certain that all is in perfect working condition before they leave.

If you require electrical service - LOOK NO FURTHER. These folks are the best, you are treated like family.

Shady Electrical Works is what this company should be re-named. I called up to see if I had an electrical problem with one of my rooms and the lady of the phone, Tanya tells me there will be a 65$ charge for an electrician to come out for a diagnotics. I say that's fine and gives me a time frame between 12-4 pm. Find out close to 5 after calling back and being assured someone was coming I get text saying they have to cancel and reschedule so I say that's fine and they come back at 10 the next morning. The guys come in and do 5 minutes of work and tell me its not an electrical problem and advise me I need a new light fixture. That 5-minute process cost 170 for a diagnostic. They then try to sell me on the insurance plan that costs 120 and they would ""waive the 65 fee"" in which they would have to come back again and charge me again just to install the light fixture. DO NOT USE, SHADY SERVICE, SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES THAT TRY TO FINESE YOU INTO SPEIND MORE THAN YOU NEED.

These guys are great. Came out on 12/28/18 when others didn't return my call. Owner was motivated to assist me and sent one of his reps out within the same hour of connecting. The Work was fast and the price was fair. Would not hesitate to use Joesph and his team at Boca Electrical Works.

What an amazing experience. Fox electric did such a poor job on wiring our house in the canyons ( they do all the canyon houses so be careful). We had two separate employees come to our home and both we a pleasure to have. The were both very good at explaining and taking care of all the problems we have been having with our house. Call and ask for Steven Tavares or Andrew Daley. They also do a whole house inspection of your wiring.
If you have a GL home you should do this. Thanks guys.
