Highly recommend! Reliable , super knowledgeable and honest! Happy I stumbled upon their info and tried them out

Needed some outlets installed. They cut large holes in the ceiling, forgot their tools and supplies, couldn't finish the 8 outlets in their full day, took an hour lunch break they tried to charge me for, and explained we'd have to hire someone to patch the ceiling holes they made. They charged almost $2k for this incomplete job so I told them not to come back.
I asked to speak the the owner, but he was too busy for MONTHS to ever return calls. Would have paid the bill immediately if he had ANY customer service skills or was apologetic about the lack of quality. He finally got in touch to demand that I pay my bill and refused to discuss the mess they made of the job. I told him I'd settle on $175 an outlet as market rate. He did not contest that price and asked when his check would arrive. I paid him. He is still hounding me.
Bob Owens does NOT stand behind his quality of work and is perfectly fine leaving your home a wreck. As long as he gets his money.

We had Bob Owens Electric come to the house to locate a problem that was on going for several weeks. Just when we thought we had found the problem, it was back again. Needless to say, the original problem was causing other problems that were preventable if we had fixed the original problem to begin with. We called and explained what was going on and they sent David to the house first thing the next morning. David appeared to be very knowledgeable and was very methodical in his search for the gremlins that had infested our home. He was obviously no stranger to older homes. We were more than satisfied with the service and the pricing. Thanks for the great job.

I have used the Owens Electric for several jobs on my property. They have stubbed out my chicken coop with electricity, they have repaired a problem I had with the aerator at my pond. I know Bob and trust him. His employees are competent and did a great job. I'm about to hire them again to run electricity out to a fountain that is being installed in my yard. I don't worry about them doing a good job. I trust their work and feel they charge me a fair price.

This company is fairly expensive, which would've been fine. But they are also slow, which would've been fine. But they also made mistakes that I am going to have to pay to repair.
Holes for recessed lights were cut too big. The electrician recommended I go buy plastic ceiling medallions to make them work.
I talked to the electrician about installing a ceiling fan, being careful to avoid the strobe effect from recessed lights nearby. The fan was installed using a downrod, instead of flush to the ceiling. It made shadows spinning around the room, until I took it down and re-mounted it flush.
They also came up with some good creative solutions for some other problems. But they worked here for two full days, charged over $1000 each day, did not address all my requests, and did several things that I had to redo.

He puts large clients first and small residential customers, like me, *last*. The ""guys"" doing the repair work did not inspire confidence, did not fix the problem, and frankly I'm puzzled that a company in business this long would be this problematic.
