As an aircraft mechanic, and being limited to work I can accomplish due to back injury, I hired Rudy to perform a detailed task in wiring my backyard shed. Rudy arrived timely and performed the task in a very professional manner. He has all the tools for just about any task. I call him ""The Professional."" If you yelpers are on the fence of who you should hire, look no further than Rudy. In the future, I will hire him to rewire my entire house. My only concern is whether he can find time for me. I was in need of work for my backyard. From electrical outlets to lightning, and adding a
automatic sprinkle system for lawn. I called several other electricians in my area and although
they came to give me an estimate, getting back to me wasn't a priority or scheduling the work
to be performed. I used ""yelp"" and found BOAZ at the top. I called and got Rudy. So I called at 11:00 am, he answered and said I can come at 3:30 pm. He showed up at 3:20 pm. I knew right away I wanted this guy to do the work. Rudy goes over all the work I needed done , AND notices other areas where I needed. I have a garage office and was working on an extension cord, quickly he suggested a independent line just for my office area. Then he noticed my lights were flickering and said that means its my ballast or switch,,,, anyway he found the little things that I needed. Rudy tells me the quote will be ready tonight. Texted me at 9:00pm with a price to do everything. It was cheaper than the 3 companies that came before. Here's the kicker, ""how about next week friday?"" HELL YEAH!!!! Rudy just finished and I'm a happy camper. Finished, cleaned up, and left with a handshake and a written guarantee.

Having bought a 60+ year old house, you can only imagine the amount of problems I have with this home. Thanks to Rudy, my electricity is not one of them. After smelling smoke in my dining room, I contacted Rudy who gave me a quote and set up the replacement all for a reasonable price. He is an amazing electrician! A couple of weeks later I hired him to change out some lighting fixtures, and move an electrical socket so we can hang our flat screen tv with no wires. He also made a dog house for my new electrical panel. He does it all! He is very quick to reply to texts, very trustworthy, professional, and kind.I hope to find a handyman who is as honest and good as he is.

Rudy does very good work. I had him over for three separate small (one day or less projects). Rudy does high quality and in my opinion highly safe work, he installed a spa panel for me, he installed a number of assorted lights and outdoor outlets and fixed an issue with my lights. Rudy is good about quoting a price and sticking with it. For smaller tasks he charged $125 an hour + labor as of September. To me (I don't have experience with a lot of electricians) this seemed pricey at first (and I can't say I know exactly what is market), but the permitting for the spa panel was super smooth and the city inspector just kept nodding his head and saying great or excellent. In general, quality of work was higher than I expected, I didn't ever get the impression that he skimped on either labor or parts to do the highest quality job. He is clear up front that he does not patch walls so that will be something that you have to take care of yourself (easy to do). My only minor niggle is that sometimes the floor was a bit dirtier on my deck and there were small pieces / wraps that I would have preferred were cleaned up. It's minor though and if it means reducing my cost and labor hours I'm all for it.

I called Rudy after discovering him on Yelp. He was very quick to answer the phone, and was able to come out before any other electrician. I've now had Rudy do three jobs for me and all have worked out nicely:
- A new GFCI bathroom outlet.
- A new double gang outdoor outlet.
- Installation of a timer switch to control the outdoor outlet.

In the first and third of the cases, he came to do the estimate and was able to do the work on the spot the same day. (The second case was a little more challenging and required more parts; he did it the very next day.) As of August 2016, Rudy billed at $125/hr for labor plus parts at cost.

I called Rudy at 9:00am last Tuesday and he arrived to diagnose the problem within 15 minutes. We needed to upgrade our entire electrical box because of rust and corrosion. He was back at our house on Thursday morning and completed the job by the afternoon. Today, he called me again to follow up and make sure everything was working properly, which he didn't have to do. Rudy is very thorough, polite, professional and dedicated to his job. I would recommend Boaz Electric to anyone.

Great at making the initial appt. I contacted Rudy in advance the previous day to reschedule for a few hours later because I had to go in to work earlier the next day but no response. I text him and called him..nothing. I called him early the day of the appt and he says I made another appt. We went back and forth about I wanted to reschedule or changing it back to the original appt and he said no. I explained to him that all I asked was to just communicate with me and don't leave me hanging without a response. I'm sure his work is great but communication isn't his strong point. That's all!!!
