I'm doing a major renovation project without a general contractor, thus I've been juggling each contractor on my own. Kyle at Blue Sky Electric has by far been the most organized, communicative and reliable contractor I've worked with. His work is outstanding (the inspector even said so) and he's a super nice guy. I recently bought a home in South Lake Tahoe and had a small list of items I needed an electrician to handle. Based on other Yelp reviews, I reached out to Kyle. He was super responsive, clearly in high demand, and we scheduled a date and time for him to come out several weeks later. Kyle was on time, friendly and extremely professional. He very quickly took care of the items on my list (installing ceiling fan, vanity lights, and a switch for exterior light). His prices are beyond reasonable and I will 100% use Blue Sky in the future if I ever need an electrician! Highly recommend!!!

If you are looking for an EXCELENT Electrical professional in the South Lake Tahoe area, you should call Blue Sky Electrical Solutions! From start to finish everything was handled precisely and professionally. All of my phone calls and/or text messages were answered swiftly. I do not reside in Tahoe but I have a place there that was in serious need of a new electrical panel. Kyle took care of everything! He evaluated the panel, gave recommendations and provided an estimate. He guided me through the process and always followed up! He obtained the permit for me so I didn't have to drive three hours. All work was completed exactly when he said it would be. He even met with the city building inspector for the final inspection. I spoke to the city building inspector as well and he told me that he was VERY impressed with Kyle and the work he performed! He said ""That young man was very professional and did an excellent job on your electrical panel.""

Kyle and Nick did an amazing job replacing a ceiling fan/light in our home that is installed in an extremely challenging location 16' above our narrow entryway. They were very responsive, professional, and worked quickly and efficiently to not only diagnose where the issue was (burned out sensor/controller for the fan), but also to install and test the new fan/light after we discussed a couple of options. The result was high quality work that we can trust. I would highly recommend Blue Sky Electrical Solutions for any size electrical project.

Kyle did some work for my family recently. We spoke to him over the phone for an estimate on some work. He provided a very reasonable estimate and told me he would be there on Wednesday. When Wednesday arrived so did Kyle. He completed the work within a short time frame at the estimate he provided. As a longtime Yelp reviewer, I always rely on Yelp for reviews, but have not written many myself. Kyle, owner of Blue Sky Electrical, did such a great job I felt compelled to write a rare review. During a huge snowstorm, a tree fell on my house, causing damage and chaos. I called Kyle at close to 8 pm with an emergency electrical situation in a snowstorm. Kyle immediately returned my call, and was polite and professional. He made an appointment for the first thing the next morning. When he came out to the appointment, he actually helped my husband shovel the driveway so my husband could get his car out of the street. Kyle then proceeded to handle a complex emergency electrical situation with ease. Kyle went out of his way to talk to our power company on his cell to make sure everything was safe. Kyle, we cannot thank you enough or recommend you more highly!

Kyle the owner, did an incredible job at my residence with an unanticipated complex and timely electrical issue that sprung up during a project. Not only did he prioritize my job, but his work was impeccable. I come from a family of trades professionals with extremely high standards and expectations -- Kyle fits right in there, and here's why:

He answers his phone and messages, and returns calls! Right away!!!
He honors his commitments, shows up on time, and communicates if there is going to be any variance in schedule. He is very clear about setting expectations, and is extremely respectful about answering questions in a matter of fact manner so that complex related things are made very simple to understand.

Work Ethic & Quality
Kyle has an extremely high work ethic, can assess a problem very quickly and get a plan of action. He is excellent problem solver, friendly, and his quality of work is impeccable. When he walks through your house, he is very mindful of keeping rugs, etc. clean which is something hard to find in professionals sometimes. When he is done, his wiring and installs are beautiful, to high standard, and you would never know that he was there, because he leaves your house clean as a whistle!

Would I recommend him?
Highly! If you want someone who you can put your highest confidence and trust in, this is the person you want to hire. His costs are extremely fair, he is very honest and transparent about everything, so you always know where you stand. If I had more budget I would have him re-wire my entire house, because whomever did before him, did a terrible and substandard job, and he is making everything right, safe and beautiful as we progress through each project.

Kyle, owner of Blue Sky Electrical Solutions, did an outstanding job on my house. I had a rather complex issue that required a healthy knowledge of the trade to diagnose. Not only did Kyle address the issue to my full satisfaction, but also did so in an extremely professional and expedient manner.

Everything from estimation of the job, punctuality, and service were all top-notch. I have no reservations whatsoever about recommending Blue Sky Electrical Solutions to any friends / family in need.

Put out a request to a bunch of local electricians to have a high power Tesla charger installed. Heard back from Kyle right away and he even made time to come over for an estimate within a day.

I eventually heard back from some of the other local electricians as well, but Kyle was the most responsive, friendly and was willing to work with my schedule.

He did the work right on time, the quality of work was excellent and his final charges, which were competitive to the local market, actually came in a little under estimate, when does that ever happen?

I'm very pleased with his work, i will be using him for a larger project in the spring. It's great to have a solid resource like this so you have one less thing to worry about during a remodel.

We called a few electricians and Kyle was the first one to answer the phone. We needed someone to check the electricity of our cabin by 8 am the following day and he came exactly on time. Very clean work, even had a vacuum cleaner in his truck to remove dust created by the work.

We asked a lot of questions as we might have more work and he knows all codes for the city of SLT. I have noticed that he has a license for Nevada as well.

He jknew we had the VHR inspection by 9.00 AM and he offered to stay in order for us to pass the electric part of it. He rocked it and the inspector gave us the green light so we cannot be more thank full.

As a young kid on the block he is very reasonably prices and we would recommend his services to everyone. While some people don't care in SLT he DOES and DOES WELL.
