Our array of energy-saving services aims to assist customers in meeting their energy requirements, whether it’s enhancing building efficiency, lowering energy expenses, becoming more eco-friendly, or all of the above! Austin Energy recognizes us as an approved small business lighting contractor. Blue Paw Energy Services was founded in 2012 by Jason Shaw, a licensed master electrician in Texas and the first deaf certified solar installer in the nation. We take pride in being the recipients of two Entrepreneur of the Year awards. Mr. Shaw, a deaf master electrician, brings over 20 years of expertise in the electrical trade, focusing on residential and commercial projects, including energy management. He is also the first deaf individual in the nation to achieve certification as a solar installer. Blue Paw Energy Service was created by Mr. Shaw in 2012 to deliver energy efficiency services, with a focus on the deaf community for improved communication, while also being eager to assist any homeowners, commercial property owners, or clients in finding ways to decrease energy consumption. Okan O.Hired blue paw for a variety of electrical work on our main panel, namely: Installing an energy meter, installing a whole house surge protector and replacing some breakers with a lower-amperage ones. Jason showed up on time, did an excellent work and finished all work in about 1.5 hours. Although I said I had all the necessary parts, he saw that some more parts were needed and he went and bought the parts before starting.
I was actually surprised that he did not count the time he went to get the parts in his bill (because it was really my fault that the parts were missing). His bill was very reasonable (actually much cheaper than I expected).
One other thing I was surprised was that he never turn off the power at the panel while working. So we never lost power during his work.
