I've been hesitant about going solar but once I did my research and decided to do it, I had to figure out who to go with. Blalock provides great professional service and quality.

During my install, Victor, David, and Miguel did a stellar job. Everything was installed perfectly and quickly in about a half day.

For the follow up, Daniel came by and made sure everything was painted and color matched to perfection. Everything looks incredible.

I highly recommend and trust these guys that worked on my house.

The Blalock team was great to work with throughout the entire process. I previously tried to work with a major national solar firm that also happens to make great electric cars but they were not very responsive and added many delays and really did not seem like they wanted my business. Fast forward to Blalock which had a very strong customer focus, they were very professional and transparent about schedules and set good expectations. The install crew led by Victor got the job done well in one day and it passed inspection the next day. A few days later, after a NEM meter installation by my utility, my system was up and running. I was having problems with the productivity of my solar that was installed from a different company that is now out of business. Blalock Electric came in and assess the situation and found out that my current inverter had a malfunction I need to be replaced. Blalock's team was extremely professional, well-versed and educated in the issue a hand, and was really easy to work with! They also installed pigeon netting to keep the pigeons away from my solar! I highly recommend them for future use!

What an efficient operation! Blalock installed our solar, which was just turned on today. (Yea!!) We had to work through the installation of a sub-panel, as well as a whole house fan and an EV charger. Each of these raised aesthetic and performance issues which Blalock could not have handled any better.

Our preference was to upgrade our existing electrical panel but SDG&E was going to require us to trench to the handle at the curb to install a new panel, thousands of dollars we did not have. The sub-panel was the perfect solution, and Blalock was consistently willing to answer questions and direct us to the best way to do the sub-panel. (Can we put the pool on the sub-panel? Sure, but it's not necessary.)

Blalock started with two visual inspections of our property, and then a third to determine the best, most efficient way to run the EV charger from the panel to the garage. Blalock's workers were on time, courteous, and helpful. Leonard the roofer was awesome, super cool cat who did really nice work. Blalock ran the EV charger under the eaves and then painted the silver casing to minimize any cosmetic issues. They asked where we wanted the whole house fan in the attic -- we deferred to their judgment. They instructed us how to use the whole house fan and warned us multiple times to make sure there are windows open when it is running so we do not burn out the motor.

Sara Gomez, Blalock's office manager, has guided and directed us through the process, and even answered an email question on a Sunday (!) even though it was not urgent. Post-install we had one small hiccup that Blalock quickly came out and corrected. I would describe Blalock's work as very precise -- they did what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it, they were very tidy and clean, and they continually asked us what we wanted and worked with us to accomplish it. Can't ask for more than that.
