My daughter and her child were housesitting from out of town when the kitchen sink clogged. While the Blake technician was prompt and fixed the problem, the $275 + fee seems to be much too high. We won't be using their services in the future.

I've used HC Blake twice before for heating issues. Today, my AC died and my house was 85 degrees inside! Yikes!! Zac arrived and, within 45 minutes, my home was starting to cool. Zac took time to do a thorough safety check and investigated the cause of my AC problem. He then let me know the results, explained my options and helped me decide the best way to resolve my AC issue. Zac is very professional and knowledgeable! He answered all my questions before leaving and left me with informational pamphlets for other options I was interested in. Thanks Zac!!!

Scheduled an appointment with them from 0900-1100. They called back that night and confirmed the appointment from 0900- 2 pm. I took of from work to wait for them. At 330 pm they called an cancelled the appointment. Told me to reschedule for another day. Gave them 1 star just for calling.

Everyone I dealt with was very pleasant to deal with. The service tech showed up on time. My only issues were that I felt like the technician was pushing a new unit do to the age of mine (15 years) and did not seem to want to diagnose the issue. (Note: my unit was completely depleted of R22 freon.). I was given a quote for $1k to diagnose as all he wanted to do is recharge with expensive Freon (note: HC Blake's freon cost is twice other companies) and add dye. I ended up calling a different company that charged the system with nitrogen and found the leak for much cheaper. I eventually did replace with that company for a 25% cheaper system cost (for a Train instead of Amana).
