Great customer service, Gave no BS, found the problem troubleshoot the problem all within quote. Found that it was not a short it was a double feed, it was a quick fix provided a great explanation on the issue and the root cause of the problem. Provided me with a easy fix that saved me a lot of money. Got my lights to turn on again and stopped my breaker from tripping...Please give this guy a call..we'll worth it.

My master bedroom ceiling fan stopped working, so my home warranty company sent out a different electrician to see what was wrong. They spent 10 minutes and said it was a fan issue that wasn't covered by the warranty. As a result, I purchased a new fan and installed it myseIf, only to find out that the new one didn't work either. I called Bingo Electric to have them do the work to figure out whether I had an issue with the circuit or something else was going on.

Daniel responded to my inquiry within 15 minutes, scheduled to come out at 9am the next working day, arrived at 8:55am, crawled my ceiling to determine it was a issue with power getting to the ceiling fixture, fixed the issue, finished installing my fan, cleaned after himself, and was gone by 9:35. Other than when he was in my ceiling, we had a pleasant conversation the entire time (he's a USMC veteran with a post-Marines business degree from San Jose State and has a contractors license).

He charged me what he quoted (quite reasonable price) and on the way out the door, took a few minutes to explain to me what I needed to do to install a video doorbell and said if I wasn't comfortable at any point in that project to give him a call and he'd come over and take care of it.

I now have a new go-to electrician.

After a few years bouncing between electricians who were unreliable, selectively responsive, or not very good, we lucked out and found Dan. Since then, Dan has done a bunch of work for us on two properties with older electricals. Dan is: very reliable; very knowledgeable; thoughtful; an excellent communicator; super quick at his work (but thorough); smart. Most importantly, stuff works reliably after Dan has fixed it up. The work for us has included landscape lighting, outdoor lighting, removing ceiling fans, wiring water heaters, and (yes --- face-palm) flipping circuit breakers because we didn't check that one sub-panel when the lights went out in the kitchen. The work he does is top notch and excellent value for money. He's our go-to electrician and an all-round awesome guy.

Daniel fixed several issues around our home (replaced outlets with GCFI, fixed two way light switch in hallway, separated light and fan in bathroom), then tackled the replacement of our old Zinsco electrical panel. It turned out to be a much bigger pain to replace than anyone originally thought, which made us extra glad we went with Daniel, as he is reliable, professional, hard-working, and easy to communicate with. He saw the job through to the end and did a fantastic job. His rates were very fair (and lower than other companies who gave bids), and we always felt comfortable having him in our home. I will definitely give him a call next time something is wonky with our electric, and would enthusiastically recommend him to a friend.

The electrician came out almost immediately, fixed my short circuit, and didn't make me feel like an idiot (it was just a circuit breaker which needed to be reset). He checked to make sure it wasn't a chronic issue, and offered to check other wiring if necessary. Fixed the problem! Good job, would hire again.
