My garage and family room share a circuit in my electrical panel and the electricity in those areas started going out completely whenever a wall switch or socket was used. This had been occurring intermittently for approx. 3 weeks to the point that I setup a bypass for the family room devices using a 50-100 ft heavy duty extension cord and some multi-outlet power strips. I explained to Robbie that a GA Power former employee I know suggested it could be a short in the panel box itself for the area involved or a short in one of the switches or sockets. Robbie 1st checked one multi-switch area where I had someone install 2 Wi-fi switches for me, then he performed some other tests and immediately found the problem within 5-10 minutes. It was a GFI socket in the garage that wasn't completely installed, possibly during the home construction (10 yrs. ago). We never used the socket until a week before the problem started, which made a lot of sense now why it caused the issue. I recalled I had some problems with 3 kitchen sockets, which never worked since we moved in. I thought I needed to have them replaced with upgraded GFI sockets, and suggested this would be a future project if needed, because I was silently concerned about the price to fix my current problem, but Robbie found out they were already GFI protected and the problem was the main controlling GFI socket needed repair. Robbie was very informative and patient with me in explaining the problems and fixed both issues quickly. He made me feel very confident about using Big Frog for my future electrical projects and repairs.
Since I am new the area it took some time for me to decide who to call for the problem, which would also help me decide who to call for electrical issues going forward. I initially contacted the company listed on my electrical panel thinking they would know best since they performed the work during construction but they never followed up about coming to check the issue. I read several reviews on yelp and google reviews and Big Frog always appeared as the best within my area. My first experience was also very affordable. I was concerned it would cost a lot to have the problem fixed, depending on the cause, to the point where I put off grocery shopping until the issue was fixed.
I am very glad I reached out to Big Frog Electric and feel relieved that I now have electricians I can count on.

Not good. So they used mediocre supplies the Hot tub conduit was just some plastic pvc pipe, and not hidden very well. For the TV home install they did a horrible job cutting an access point to feed wires and they made the hole over 4 feet wide by 1 foot. I've never seen an electrical contractor who had to make that big of a hole to feed wires through. Then they cut it poorly and did no repair to fix drywall. I have to hire another contractor to fix the wall. Lastly they talked me into installing a sub panel after I was told I wouldn't need one to install the hot tub circuit, I'm sure at the end of the day it was a good idea to put one in, but they were lazy on the install, moved a bunch of stuff over to the sub panel, but did not label a thing. Do yourself a favor and hire someone else to do work...

Based on all the great reviews they have here on Yelp, I knew I wanted to have Big Frog do the electrical repair work for my AC unit. Alan, the owner, answered the phone when I called and had me explain the problem to him. He immediately knew what needed to be done but I was faced with the possibility of being without a working AC for a week because his schedule was completely booked. I asked him to put me on standby and kept my fingers crossed something would open up. As luck would have it, minutes later the phone rang- it was Chantz letting me know that one of his jobs ended early so he could squeeze me in. I was overjoyed and so grateful to Alan that he cared enough to find a way to squeeze me so I wouldn't have to sit in a hot house for much longer. Chantz showed up within the next hour and fixed what needed to be fixed in no time. Their pricing is reasonable and they don't try to pad the bill by adding on unnecessary charges like other companies do. I will be using these guys in the future for all my electrical needs.

The electrician that came over was super nice, very professional, and answered all my questions. He worked quickly to get the job done and did a great job. He scheduled a time to come over and called ahead to let me know he'd be here with in 30 minutes. When my husband called to explain the problem originally, he let us know what he thought it might be and a general cost if that was the problem. That was helpful to know what to expect in advance. Seemed very reasonably priced. I highly recommend them and will be sharing their info with my neighbors too.

Big Frog Electric installed two chandeliers in my house with 18-foot ceilings. I got quotes, and they had the best price. They called to confirm appointments, were flexible, and got to the house when they promised. They moved stuff that was in their way and put everything back. One chandelier I bought was actually a plug-in, so they advised me of the canopy I needed to purchase they could hang it from the ceiling. They did not sell the part and they did not charge extra for having to come back a second time to my house, so it was not as if they were trying to upsell me. Both chandeliers look great thanks to Big Frog Electric!

I've used this business a couple of times in recent years. Each time I've had a very good experience. The electricians from Big Frog have been knowledgeable, courteous, reliable and very competent. Derek and Greg came out most recently, and hung a chandelier in our stairwell. I'd definitely recommend this business to friends and family.

Fast responding, knowledgeable, caring, and true to their word...

My sister-in-law was experiencing electrical problems at her home in Ga (I live in Southern California), and I was worried because it was only her and the baby. I messaged Big Frog immediately, and within minutes I received a yelp message, and a phone call as promised. From the moment Allen got on the phone I knew his main concern was safety, and fixing the problem. Money was the last thing on his mind. Allen got in contact with my sister-in-law and advised her on what to do, without any monetary compensation. Allen advised me on what steps needed to be taken, and back up plans if things fell through.

It turns out a tree had fallen on the power lines and GA power company came to repair it.

So Big Frog services were not needed, but I guarantee you if I need any work done on my sister-in-law's home this is the company to call.
