I called Mr. Bidram, a licensed electrician, twice for two different services, smoke detector problems, and circuit breaker problems. Both time he was there very quickly and not only fixed the problems quickly, he showed me, and taught me what to do in case it happens again. Had my Tesla delivered sooner than I thought so I needed my car charger asap! I googled electricians in the area and that's when I found B Modern Electric. I gave them a call but it went to voicemail. Less than half an hour later they called me back. The conversation was very professional and knowledgeable. They came out to my house that day to give me a free estimate. We agreed on a price and they even made time to come out during the week since I said I wanted it done asap. The work itself was nice and clean. Wires were tucked away as much as it could be. They even went above and beyond and installed a holder for my charger. I would highly recommend them to anyone! Babak installed four recessed LED lights above my garage door. He came by at my request to provide an estimate, and honored an offer on one of those home improvement magazines, that I happened to have and that was somewhat dated.
During my decision-making process, he clarified all my requests for clarification and provided as many details as I requested. He listened to and understood my concerns, and I think he showed an honest demeanor at all times.
The job ended up entailing some challenges due to how the wood structure above the garage door was built. After that, I checked several of those soffits above the garage doors around my neighborhood, and not all of them are built in the same fashion, meaning that I understand how that job could be 'not always standard'. He managed to sort out those challenges and looked professional to me at all times.
I can't know whether he is responsive or not on a 'post-installation' issue because, so far, I've been satisfied with what I got.
I am considering him for future electrical improvements at my house as far as he remains professional, honest and charging reasonable prices.

BEWARE! Came out to give estimate on lighting 1 hour late...then said he would, ""email the estimate right away to you when I get home""...reluctantly gave him my email. Asked why he was unable to provide a written estimate as is traditionally done at the time of appointment...he hemmed and hawed and said, ""this is how I give estimates""...Further, he does NOT take ""credit cards"" for payment...so another...hmmmmm?...Why not? Answer...because ""it costs me""...No, because if customers are unhappy with the work he does or there's a problem there's no credit company to open a case with. Says he only takes payment by check! Redflag!
Also, waited 4 days for estimate....tick, tock, tick, tock....no email estimate sent (checked spam and trash...no email!).
Called and asked, ""What happened to the estimate you were going to send?""...Answer, ""Oh sorry, I've been very busy (he was home at time of my inquiry, I could hear his mother talking to him in background)...""I will email it to you right away""....over 1 week later ...still no estimate...no call....zero! Highly undependable!
So, here's the thing; if you decide to hire this guy, he has all your personal information: your address, email, your full name AND your personal checking account number...this is not a secure way to do business! Also, if there are any problems with the work he does, you will have difficulty serving court papers to him as he doesn't have a business address. Good honest companies provide a street address. Good honest companies take credit cards and understand people do not have cash available for large/expensive jobs! HUGE WASTE OF TIME! Also is writing his own review and is having his family and friends write up reviews. Says he's been a ""electrician"" for 5 years...sometimes uses an assistant...so he's basically a one-man show. Very suspicious character. I'd check his drivers license/ID AND his ""electricians license"" before hiring him to make sure he is who he claims to be because who knows if it's legitimate. Also be aware he apparently goes by several company names: B.Electrin, Bidram Electric...which is it? WAY TOO MANY RED FLAGS! VERY DISAPPOINTING! Dodgy!
