Mike was very responsive, came to give a free quote and was able to get the work done the next week. He installed shelves/hanging bars in two closets. They turned out great! We would definitely use Mike again in the future.

I would not recommend hiring them. They came to install a butler door, with plenty of details beforehand about the specifics of the job. They were rushing the whole time as if they wanted to be done as fast as possible. As you can see in the photos, the work is very sloppy, they had to cut probably overall less than an inch off the bottom of the door and the cut is messy and uneven and it splintered the bottom of the door. When they were ""done"", it wasn't hanging straight, and when I asked for them to straighten it, he faulted the door frame, and I had to gently insist until he did it. The screws connecting the hardware to the floor are all in at completely crazy angles and most of them are totally stripped. I need to remove the door again to fit a fridge through and the stripped screws are posing an issue. They also didn't add the covering plate to the door saying it wouldn't fit, and I put it on later myself. They left Sharpie stains on the door and the door frame. Not only that, they didn't throw away the trash, sweep well, nor put back the heavy original door they looked at for reference.

I feel bad leaving one star because he didn't break the door or something, so since he DID the job, just not well at all, I'm leaving 2. I am a very easy going person, but this was just not an acceptable experience. And they weren't even friendly.

Mkhitar works fast and diligently, ensures that the job is done right. Unfortunately, there were some delays pertaining to a previous project that was not completed, but he was always communicative and ensured that he will get the job done, no matter what. I called him out to provide an estimate for an elderly client who lives in Atwater Village and was needing help with a tenant's unit. He arrived promptly at the time we agreed upon and we soon found out that she had contacted another handyman to take care of the work. Mhkitar was so understanding, patient and professional. I think other less upstanding people would have reacted this way. He was gracious and also offered a recommendation to another handyman who does work closer to where I live. I will definitely reach out to him should I have any work to be done in that area.

Mike was fantastic to work with. He responded quickly, came the next day to give an estimate (incredibly fair one!) and was available to start work within a couple days. He painted a bedroom for us, built shelving in a closet, put up blackout curtains, repaired a broken door sweep, and took down a TV and patched the wall. All of the work was done quickly and professionally. The room and closet look great!! Highly recommend his work as a handyman.

I recently had the need for someone to assist with updating my office space. I had a new standing desk, some juggling of items on the wall and to put up some LED lighting.

Mkhitar came and evaluated the space and then they got to work on everything. The desk was working great and i got to get everything setup for the New Year.

All of a sudden i noticed the LED lighting starting to fall and act weird. It turned out the double sided tape that came with the LED was low quality and started to detach from the lights and the wall on three quarters of the room. After talking to Mkhitar, i got a new set of lights and stronger double sided tape to resolve the issue.

They came back and put the new lights up with the stronger tape, got to areas i didn't have enough light for previously and really did a great job overall.

I would highly recommend Mkhitar for any Handyman needs!
