I decided tentatively to replace a whole lot of low voltage recessed halogen ceiling lights (MR16's) with line voltage MR16 LED lights (tricky and complicated, for various reasons). I needed assistance in fully understanding and in finalizing this decision, and of course I needed someone to do the work if I decided to go ahead. Bill was great on both scores. He helped me understand all the pros and cons, allowing me to make the decision with confidence; and then he was excellent in completing the job, which took a number of days. Bill is highly skilled, practical, efficient, totally dependable, and reasonably and fairly priced - a joy to work with. As expected, there were some challenges - and each time one appeared on the horizon, Bill gave me a heads up as to what the complication might be (options and choices if necessary), and then worked through the best solution. Everything turned out just as I had hoped. And along the way, Bill also gave me pointers for some DIY projects I can undertake in other areas of the house as I continue to convert all incandescent and CFL lighting to LED, over time. I recommend Bill and Beyonergy without any reservation.

Bill was incredibly communicative, respectful, and really, really nice. He was timely (a little early even!), neat, organized, and quick on the job. Bill installed a 240v electric car charger in our garage, and all the corresponding conduit, and things needed for inspection.

Bill is a great guy and a great electrician. Completely trustworthy, thorough and clean. I needed to have some switches and an external light replaced, his price was good and it was also flat rate per switch (which I prefer) rather than time based. He got them all swapped out, verified they worked properly and cleaned everything up (this is a big deal as other electricians have left a mess).

Will definitely be using Bill again for any future jobs I have.

Our kitchen, master bathroom and garage needed to be rewired and then new lighting fixtures installed. We had not previously done business with Beyonergy Electric. I called several electricians in the East Bay. The Company owner, Bill Vuong, returned my call within a couple of hours. Based on our conversation I knew he understood the job and was able to propose several solutions. Within a day, Bill was on the job which took him two days to complete. Bill is knowledgeable, competent, fast and very clean and neat. Careful to pick up debris from his work. He was able to provide options in terms of lighting fixtures, time frames for completion and able to provide requirements to stay within the building code. All work was very reasonably priced. We are so please to have found Bill and anticipate hiring him in the future to do additional work. Thank you Bill Vuong!

After reading Bill's wonderful reviews on Yelp, I sent him an e-mail listing electrical work that I needed to have done and asked if he had any available time in the next couple of weeks. He responded within an hour or so which I really appreciated The work that I needed consisted of installing 4 replacement fixtures, 3 porcelain closet fixtures and 1 new dining room pendant light, measuring about 24"" in width. The fifth item was the light on the landing between my first and second floors which was no longer working even though I had replaced that fixture.
Bill came over a few days later, arriving exactly on time. He quickly took care of the closet fixtures. Then he focused on the dining room pendant light. The first thing he noticed after taking out all of the parts was that the company had omitted the instructions for putting the light together. No problem; he was able to do it easily without the instructions. He was also extremely patient in helping me determine at what length from the ceiling I wanted the light to hang so that it would be exactly where I wanted it to be over my dining room table. He got it just right, and the light looks great!
The last thing he did was test the wiring to the landing fixture which wasn't working. He determined that there was no live wire going to the light, but that the neutral wire was there. I informed Bill that the light stopped working during a recent kitchen remodel. He presented two possible causes of the problem, both of which were related to the remodel. He suggested I call the contractor because it might be necessary to open up one of the walls to find the problem which would be expensive, and if the contractor was responsible, he should fix the light for me. If the problem turns out not to be related to the remodel, you can be sure that I will call Bill to fix the problem for me. He was everything you could ask for in an electrician. He explained things clearly, he worked efficiently, he picked up anything that fell on the floor and put the items in a trash bag. Most of all he was always very polite and personable. From now on, I will always call Bill if I have an electrical problem!

This review is long overdue! Since my regular electrician (David of Tinpa Electrics) was swamped, he recommended that I call Bill to help with some lights that needed to be installed in our home. Bill was very prompt in returning my call and we were able to schedule a lighting installation at a convenient time for me.

I have nothing but high praise for Bill's workmanship. He was very mindful of the spaces that he was working in. He could have charged me the original quoted price and installed a very heavy light fixture in my sons room, but he didn't install the fixture because he showed me how much of a safety hazard it was. He deducted the price from his original quote with no hassle even if he already did some labor opening up the ceiling and making his assessments.

I'm happy that I found another trustworthy electrician in Bill.

My building in SF is 100 years old. A major remodeling was required. An electrical contractor, Bill of Beyonergy, was recommended to me. Bill responded to my phone call immediately and was at my property the next day to do an evaluation of the project. He was very knowledgeable and explained what needed to be done to bring the 100 year old electrical up to current building standards. I liked how Bill came across and I hired him. The building was gutted and Bill replaced all the electrical wiring in the building to bring it up to SF electrical code. It was quite amazing the amount of wires pulled, over 3,000 feet. After his portion of the electrical was done, he also performed small jobs for me. I highly recommend Bill of Beyonergy. He is great to work with and responsive to questions. I would give him 6 stars!

Bill returned my call quickly, and arrived when he said he would arrive. After I'd shown him what we needed done, he asked to wash his hands to keep the new fixtures clean. Frankly, that was a first in my experience and I really appreciated it. He also made sure to protect our hardwood floor as he worked.

I had Bill replace our old 60's style, yellowed can lights with new LED lights. I had also wanted him to install push button dimmer switches in two rooms, to replace existing toggle switches (to bring us back to the original era of our home); however, Bill explained that what I'd bought was not compatible with the new lights. I had numerous questions and Bill was clearly knowledgable as he answered my questions. Despite having to take time with the switches, he did not charge me, despite installing one in our dining room! His price was very reasonable.

I'm hoping we can use Bill for an upcoming remodel (I know the general contractor has his own guy, but I plan to discuss using Bill instead. The contractor's electrician did not return my call).

This was a relatively small job, but Bill's work inspired confidence in every way.
