HORRIBLE! They put in a new AC unit over 6k and 16 months later unit wasn't working properly and said the repair would be 2,400 - so we quickly called a more reliable compan.
Please avoid Best for your sake and your wallets sake!

Do not use this company! I've spend $20K with them and had them out to my house over a dozen times to fix the new units that they just installed. Every tech that comes out says that the previous guy screwed up. Was quoted $10K today to fix what they just installed because it was not done properly.

Kitchen faucet was leaking and going into the unit below us. Plumber came and spent about 15 minutes to wrongfully diagnose that the problem was a loose part on the faucet. Thinking the problem was fixed we used the faucet and quickly flooded our downstairs neighbor again. Will never use this company ever again. On top of everything we were charged $128.

$$$$$$$ ridiculous prices. $650 to replace a toilet piece that he told me cost $40 and replace a faucet that I provided. Then he was a jerk when I said I'd rather figure it out myself.

Very efficient in making the appointment and showing up on time. Here's what we had done: a swap of an old transformer for a new one and a connection of 1 wire to outdoor lights. Pretty simple stuff to the tune of $538.00.
However, they did not fix the electrical problem and I was told that they would come back and fix it for an additional cost if it turns out that the problem was more than the wire connection. The technician is the one who decided that the problem was the wire connection.
So we paid for an incorrect diagnosis and now we have to pay more? Not the way I expect a business to treat customers. I will not use them again.

Best Home Services solved a problem we've had with our AC unit for the past 2 years. The unit drips water constantly into the pan and doesn't hold a steady temperature. In Florida in the summer when it's 98 degrees and humid this is a huge problem. We've had 3 other HVAC companies come out over the years, and had an annual contract with one of them. Each time they cleaned the drain pipe and found nothing, and then tried to sell us everything from ultraviolet lights for mold, to an elaborate coil cleaning, to a new unit, to the tune of several thousand dollars.
Luckily we declined those services, reason being that each company gave us a different answer. We were referred to Best Home Services by our favorite server at our local sushi joint, who in casual conversation mentioned that her husband worked there.
We made an appointment with him and as promised, he called 30 minutes before he arrived. He did a thorough review of the entire system, including going to the roof to inspect the exterior unit. He said we definitely didn't need ultraviolet lights, a coil cleaning , or a new unit. The solution was simple... the drain pipe didn't have an opening near the base of the AC unit so you couldn't reach that area to flush the line. He cut the PVC pipe to install an outlet and cap, and in the process found a huge piece of slimy gunk blocking the drain. This is one review where I will intentionally NOT post pictures! For a few hundred dollars he solved the problem, and didn't try to upsell us on unnecessary fixes.
I highly recommend Best Home Services, and ask for Scott Slade! They also take care of plumbing and electrical work so they are a one stop shop.

We had a problem with the blower on the furnace. Appeared to be a straight forward issue and a simple repair to replace the blower. The technician who came out was very nice and confirmed the bad blower motor quickly. His solution was to replace the entire system at almost $8K citing that we should expect the system to fail for some other reason in the near future. We pushed for a simple repair and we're given an estimate of almost $2K to replace the blower. We called small AC repair shop in Naples and he showed up within the hour, confirmed the problem and gave us an estimate of $700 for the repair. Which we happily paid. I would highly advise you do not waste your time with this company. They appear to only be interested is selling service contracts and new systems. They are beyond price gouging.

This company cost my family thousands with replacements that didn't need to replaced. The $19.99 service call is a complete scam. After speaking with the tech who came out. He said he only gets paid if he ""upgrades"" items on a service call. He says management called my parents whales. BEWARE of this scam!!!

Charged my card without permission and without service! I used them months ago and they were paid in full. $48.00 random charge hit my credit card. No I never agreed to any monthly fees etc, and yes all of my services have been paid in full at time of service. I have disputed the charge and expect a full refund immediately. Now I know I won't be using this company again!
