I previously gave this company 1 star because of its billing practice of providing an up front bill before starting the work. in my case I calculated the labor charge at over $200 an hour for an electrician who I felt did good work. As it turned out they had to come back 3 times because of problems with the internal wiring. I am sure they lost money on my job.As I said in my first review, the electricians they sent were impressive and did good work. in my case they returned to the job until they were able to fix the problem, which wasn't of their making. The company never balked at returning to complete the work for no additional charge I would recommend negotiating up front by asking how long they estimate it will take them to complete the job. compare their answer with the proposed bill. They will explain how they got to the number. I would definitely use them again.

The worst experience I had!!! Just for an estimate they charge $289 and they tell $19. Don't ever give them your credit card!!!!! Prices are extremely high. Will tell all my friends- clients- DO NOT USE this Company!!!!

I would give them zero stars if I could. Deceitful business practices, unbelievable rudeness and unprofessionalism. I initially reached out to this company on Thumbtack and was contacted by one of their branch managers from Naples. I explained the 2 minor projects that we need completed with partial electric and plumbing work. Adam gave me the price for both of $280.00 which was $80.00 over than what my parents paid for the exact same project mind you. I agreed nevertheless and he scheduled both the electrician and plumber to come out on Thursday. The plumber arrived and didn't even bother taking his shoes off and started reading install directions, which was the first red flag. I asked him if he installed similar upgrades before, and his response was ""few far and between"". I asked him when the electrician was getting here and he was clueless. I called the branch and was told by the service team manager Chris that he will send a message to the branch manager to call me. Then the plumber proceeded to tell me that he will write out an estimate. I told him that I already have an agreed price Adam gave me. He asked me what it was and I told him, he smiled and said, oh no, it's too low. I told him, no it's not for an hour job. I told him that I don't want him to waste his time and write out an estimate as I won't pay a penny more over what I was told by Adam, his response was ""too late"". Then he proceeded to go to the truck and call his manager. 15 minutes later he returned and said ""there's no record of Adam giving you an estimate"". I asked him, ""Are you saying I'm lying?"", did you call Adam?"". He said, ""no, I called him but he didn't pick and there's no record"". I said, ""fine, you can go, have a nice day"". Unreal. And an hour later, no call from his manager or Adam for that matter. Stay away!!!!!

Would Never use them for anything!! Way overpriced, and never fixed anything right. Had to keep calling them over & over to fix the same thing on my h-vac. Priced with other companies for the same work they had done & it was $2000.00 cheaper. Never ever call them!!

2 day job turned into a 2 week job that still is not 100% complete as promised over a month later!!!!
Frank I will not take this review or the others down and yes I am the caregiver of the family that you are screwing over. Your company has done multiple things wrong and nothing to correct any of it!!! for
1) You sent guys there from Naples that had no idea what they were doing they normally drive truck we were told
2) I thought a work day started at 8/9 a.m. not 11 a.m.
3) Call to say your coming and showing up hours later or not at all that day. come the next day and be told the boss sent us to another job.
4) Employee leaves for family emergency took 2 days and said he ""wanted"" to stay home the second one.
5) Client called to trying to resolve matter and the lady on the phone only wanted to push financing when she paid cash. No discount given for paying with cash either.
6) Way over charged for installation and purchase of a hot water tank. Could have purchased one at Lowe's for less than half.
7) still waiting for dry wall to be repaired over a month later!!!
8) Workers left water shut off for over 24 hrs on 2 different occasions.
This family has 2 mentally challenged adults and a bed ridden husband that requires laundry daily.

None of the guys that worked in the home were licensed, home owner asked.

Bad business all the way around!!!

They advertise a $19.99 service charge to make you believe they are value priced. BEWARE!!!! They are NOT value priced. I had a very slow leak under the kitchen sink. One piece a the plastic needed replaced and I had the garbage disposal removed. It took 25 minutes. They charged me $350!!!! On the upside it was done that day and quickly. They are very over priced and I would only use them in a desperate situation.

Best Home Services came to my house to snake out a laundry drain line that was clogged. They showed me video footage of the clogged laundry drain pipe and charged me $349.00. I was told that if I used them for further service they would apply the $349.00 to it. Then they gave me an estimate of several expensive whole house options ranging from $2,300.00 to $3,000.00 which I cannot afford. I just wanted the one laundry line cleared. I decided to mull over the absurd costs for a day and called back to just have the one laundry line cleared. They told me they will not snake out the line because of old pipes. I have had Roto-Rooter come over to snake the line several times before without any problems. So I basically paid $349.00 to look at a video of my drain and they refuse to help me unless I cough up a couple thousand dollars. Total rip-off. Do not use these con artists.

For anyone ready to get work or quotes from this company, please read . I had recently requested a quote for new A/C system at my house. I obtained as well other quotes from different companies, but since Best Home services guaranties to be very competitive with prices ( but they actually aren't at all ), however I decided to give it a try. First of all, the consultant/salesman who showed up had an upfront "" low"" attitude that was felt right away. Then what followed was even worse as his demeanor/behavior was so ""unprofessional & rude"". Every comment I would make, he would each time completely contradict my sayings ( and I know specific suggestions on my part were right) This has been the worse experience that I was not expecting, and in the end, the quote he wrote and lined up in kitchen.....he took off without a word,showing himself out, but making sure he was picking up the quote from the kitchen counter, in order not to leave it to me. Wow....never seen anything like this!!
This company does other services as well, but there isn't a chance in this world I will call for anything else. Never!

The technician was on time and friendly. However $366 to replace a capacitor in my A/C which took a total of 25 minutes was very expensive. Not happy about the price.

Called to replace 28 yr old 40 gal, 3500 watt water heater that died. Said they'd send email with photo but never happened. He did call though asking to come early, and the appt time he had was 2 hrs after what service told me night before. No problem - nice enough person, but how this company lies! I said a 30 gal tank, Rheem, was all I needed - small house, few people. He said, nope, can't put those in real houses, just manufactured homes. Hmm? I had spoken to friend's master plumber brother who was too far away to do the job, but he had told me what to ask for. I'd also priced out heaters on Home Depot website, so knew 20 and 40 gal tanks went from $350-450. The Best plumber gave me 2 quotes, one for 30, one 40 gal. Identical quotes - $1300 installed. This included a thermo expansion tank and ball valve. I told him I didn't need that, had release value built in house. He said, nope, that's new code, he had to put it in. LIE! He quoted me for an off-brand tank, 40 gal with that bulb, and said all the tanks were 4500 watts - which would put my house at risk for fire. Insisted all had to be code with that expansion tank. While he was here, I called Wyman Plumbers, 93 yrs experience in town. They quoted me $800-1100. They came out within hours, with the right tank, he said that bulb wasn't required, I have proper protection built into water line. Also, he could simply adjust the wiring to 3500 watts, it was an option with the Rheem tank. Did the job in about 2.5 hrs. I trust Wyman. NEVER trust over-priced and lying BEST Services. Nice people but oh dear, how dishonest.
