I have a duplex and the toilet want going down at either apartment. It was around 630pm when I realized this has become an emergency. I called Best home services. I got a dispatcher on the phone. He said he could get someone out there between 8 and 12PM. And charging me a few of $129 up front. I was relieved to know the tenants would soon be able to use the bathrooms again. What I didn't know was they were going to shut off their phones and not respond till morning calling and saying sorry we didn't have anyone last night but we can schedule someone today or tomorrow. I of course cancelled them and called another company that was there before first light. Best home services lied to collect a few and don't even have the courtesy to let me know they weren't coming. I'll never call them again.

Buyer beware. They charged my 88 year old Mother $539.00 just labor for a 45 minute job. The part was covered under warranty.

Best Home was supposed to do my HVAC instead they decided to rip me off of thousands of dollars. they didn't do what they promised until I called and raised hell then they came back and fixed it. I still felt I was ripped off for the price they charged.. DO NOT USE THEM THEY ARE A POORLY RUN COMPANY...

After I posted about a bad experience, I was asked to contact a representative of the company to see how my complaint might be addressed. After making initial contact, the company has gone completely silent. Be very careful if you are looking for the services they provide. Their technician lied to me and after the fact, I found out that they do not warranty their work.

Beware! Terrible customer service.
If they can't fix your problem they still charge you a service fee. Terrible customer service. Others like Minuteman plumbing will offer a free estimate and be honest.

This high rating is for Borjiny who fixed our air conditioner. He was persistent on making it work with calls to the central office. He figured out what to do on his own. It took several attempts to get the right parts.
He also endured cleaning snakes off the motor.

Don't use. Dishonest sales approach.
We had a stoppage in the main sewage line. They arrived quickly. The first issue was that they claimed that they could not go through the connection to the city sewage line to our main sewage line to unclog the drain because the lines only ran one way. They attempted to look for a clean out but couldn't find it. Next they said they would have to remove the toilet to unclog the drain and put a camera down. The starting price was $900. They would wave this fee if the job got required more work than just unclogging. One man worked hard to remove the clog while the other man who claimed to be the assistant supervisor worked hard on his sales pitch. The camera did show a few roots had grown into the line. They then suggested that they could reroute the section of the main sewage line instead of removing the palm tree or digging below the palm tree. Rerouting the sewage line, creating a bend, probably isn't up to code and would lead to future issues. The sales person was quite good at talking around all of our concerns. They wanted $11,700 to reroute the outside sewage line and clean the line out otherwise there was some slight residue. We never saw a quote and were never asked for an email to send the quote to. Wanted me to sign and pay half down without seeing anything in writing. Don't trust them.

We stopped all work with them.

Best Home Services was professional, on-time and courteous from beginning to end. I would happily recommend them for any plumbing jobs as that was all I needed them for this visit. They installed a new sink in my kitchen remodel and installed a water line for my new ice maker. They cleaned up after themselves and based on the overall experience I would highly recommend them for any of the services they offer. David Wilson, Port Charlotte.

Do NOT do business with this company!!! Initially they didn't show up on date provided and then they overcharged my CC for a ""yearly"" membership which was NEVER discussed with me. I am disputing the charge with my CC and I will NEVER recommend them or use them again.

Had stoppage in sewer lines. Get Beat Home Services to arrive. On the phone at 3:10 pm Patrick told me that he'll need to run camera, find problem and fix it. He also told me that it will be hard to do since drains have ""lift"" installed. Quoted $738. I thought it's complicated, hi-tech equipment must be used -ok, do it.
It all was a lie. All he did get his snake thru 105 ft to clean stoppage, run water for 15 minutes and left. All together hour to hour and a half tops. Not bad gig $780 for less than two hours, ha!
When I asked Patric after he finished he started give me fishy answers, get aggravated when I pressed and dropped call.
Not good, suggest toot to use this crooks.
