These people are very aggressive yet very inefficient. Called in for some simple electrical issues they swarm the house with technicians to try to scare/sell you ten of thousands of dollars worth of services, which is quite ludicrous because if you are going to spend that kind of money you would bid it out.
They performed the electrical work poorly and now have to return to fix it.
They refuse to deal by email. They want everything done on the phone so they get a recording but you don't get a paper trail. They ring you up and disturb you at work.
It's all about them. Arrogant and shoddy...steer clear

Would never hire this company! Called for an emergency garbage disposal leaking water, said there would be a charge of $119.00 which was acceptable because it was an emergency. Technician came and confirmed I needed a new disposal, I said okay, gave me a 1/2 HP standard badger 5 garbage disposal for lite use, charge for disposal was $518.00 plus the $119.00 for emergency call, in my opinion this was highway robbery at its best, I would never recommend this company ever.

Nicest people when they quote you, they listen (or you think) while they take your money. Promised me a 7 AM arrival and they were provided my PM's phone #. DIdn't show til almost 9 and then didn't call my PM to gain access to house. Tried to move to later in the day, but they canceled on me. Rude cancellation and informed via text with their attorneys name and address, all while they overcharged me a cancellation fee. I am involved in a Large residential portfolio, but I will make sure to tell industry partners to look elsewhere for electrical services. Pathetic treatment of customers. Still have not rec'd my refund 2 weeks later.

I used Home Services for many things. The last service was my air. They spent less than an hour, left trash all around and overcharged. When I complained about the very high charge, the manager gave me a little off the bill. Then I go on here and see they already offer $75 off!
The person was pompous and mentioned twice about his supervisory position.
They are a company that needs much teaching to their people and evaluation on their pricing especially when servicing a home with a single woman. They are a ripoff.

I called BEST HOME SERVICES because I am selling a home and had a home inspection done by the buyer. In the report, the inspector noted that the 3 hose bibs on the exterior of the home needed those little things that keep water from backing up into the water line. They are commonly known as anti siphon devices. They guy said $150 each. I threw him out of the house and purchased them at Lowes for $5.69. Instead of spending $450 I spent less than $19 and screwed them on the hose bibs.
Dont use them.

Here's what I've learned about Best Home Services. They play a psychological mind game with you. First, they come in as your BEST friend. Then, when they have you in their hands they wow you with their knowledge and ability to get the job done quickly. The cost seems a little high, but you are in a dire situation so you fall for it. Granted, you feel confident that the everything will be taken care of to the utmost level. Finally, you realize...wait a minute??? When you try to talk to them they make you wonder why you were so foolish as to accept their offer. It's all YOUR fault ~ you silly girl.
Personally I've experienced being charged $1200 to fill out a credit card application and was told that was the only option for credit. My $8800 TOTAL priced air conditioner turned into $12,000! Hey, wait a minute.....When I called about it I was told ""You signed it!"" Well, yes I did, you silly girl! Fool me once, shame on me.
Then I was in need of a ceiling fan installation in a room that was not pre-wired. I have company coming and the room is extremely hot. I was told an access door would have to be created in the closet, 2x4s installed in the crawl space to brace the fan, wiring, etc. The first estimate was for $2400, we got it down to $2000 and I agreed because I really needed that fan installed. The electricians came, and simply installed it by cutting a hole in the wall & ceiling. My refund....if I ever get it....is $466. My response when I called to question the refund was, ""Why did you agree?"" Well, good question! Then I was told $1500 is the average cost of putting in a ceiling fan???
Yes, I am their fool. Fool me twice, shame on YOU!

If I could give them NO STARS I would. NEVER USE BEST HOME SERVICES!
We had an issue with the dishwasher and kitchen sink not draining in our tenant's home. They came out and gave me a seemingly high price to clear the lines. We were traveling and said ok.
A while later the workman called me and threw me into a state of panic when he went on and on with deep emotion (enter violins now) about how our entire plumbing was messed up and they needed to bring in the big truck, dig under the house and it could cost us $15,000!
My husband told them to button it up and called a trusted friend who gave us the number of an ethical local plumber who came out and fixed the issue for a few hundred dollars.
I want to give the NEGATIVE 5 stars!

I called them to get a quote on an A/C unit. The technician showed up on time. But that was all that was good about the visit. I was just wanting a few quotes not anything too expensive. The person who would be paying for the unit had to leave on an emergency that came up. When the consultant was I formed she had to leave he got real snotty and basically said that even though it was a sudden emergency she had enough time to deal with it. What part of sudden emergency did he not understand. We had to ask him to leave and he just got a bad attitude stating he drove 50 miles to come out there. It was like he was inconvenienced to have to come out.

I would never recommended this company to anyone ever again.

A never again experience, prices are out of this world. We got everything done for 75% less and by a pro and trusted person with a lot of experience on not ripping off the community. This company is a joke, replacing a pipe and doing little repairs they came up to almost 2,000 and they told us they can't guarantee the job?

My AC was out for the second time in a week. I had another service come out and do a quick fix and sell me a piece of junk AC unit last week. This week, I called Best. I have had great honest service for plumbing issues in the past and thought I would try them for HVAC. The technician showed me all of the results of his findings and made solid recommendations before doing any repairs. He thoroughly looked at my system including duct work, electricity, air handler and condensing unit. He did not try to ""upsell"" me for what I needed. I am grateful for the honesty he displayed. BTW, my father has been in the HVAC business for 50 years and also was very pleased with the recommendations. A lot of HVAC technicians are ""crooks"", but not James at Best.
