Called them to hook up my kitchen sink drain, after I removed a garbage disposal. I had all of the parts, started by saying it would cost $3-400.00, I said no way, I felt like i was being worked, he then comes back with a written estimate of $279.00. Paid him the $19.00 fee and sent him on his way. I did it myself in less than an hour and I never did it before , if I had to do it again it would be about 1/2 hour. Never again. ( Update! ) After my complaint they did return my $19.00 check.

Best Home Services is a nightmare. Hired them to install a new bathroom faucet with matching drain assembly and repair a couple rusted stopper mechanisms, all of which parts I provided.
The job was therefore all labor and was completed in under an hour. Labor charge was $350.
Absolutely outrageous. I found out Best's prices for parts were also astronomical when one of the men offered to sell me a stopper assembly for $118. The Ace Hardware assembly I had on hand and made him use cost $3.99!!! When I told the guy the price was ridiculous he asked me what price I would pay for it. In my opinion, Best is a really bad news company.

They are decent people just be aware that they are there to get business and will suggest preventive measures that are
justified but maybe not absolutely needed if one is on a budget .

I purchased the maintenance contract for electric, plumbing and Air conditioning. For each service the technicians wrote up several options for their findings leaving everything open and in parts so you are thinking if you don't let them do the work, will they leave you high and dry or worse yet , actually break something or cause damage. (Note: Everything they looked at was in working order when they came). They took pictures with their phones to show condition and to prove their diagnosis. In each instance they said that this work could be done on that day???? Anyway, they don't itemize the bill, so you can't compare pricing or see their cost of labor. They stretch out the job and spend a long time writing out the description of what they did and so increasing the time spent at the job thus increasing your labor cost. I tried to say no to the job , but they wouldn't take no for an answer . These are high pressure salesmen that are sent to do these jobs and I suspect are paid commission when they sell something. Don't do business with them. Find a reputable company.

Very Disappointed! Now I know how this company pays for its huge advertising expense. I was told it would cost $1150 to do some minor plumbing repairs. I do not mind paying fair prices but $200 - $250 per hour for very entry level plumber doing some basic work. I asked the plumber how long it would take and he responded 4 to 5 hours... I replied, WOW! over $200 per hour to do (minor) plumbing. He replied, we are not cheap... Felt Violated. Beware...

Of course, I said... Good Bye, no thanks.

Naples, FL. Called them to replace florescent bulbs in 6 or 7 fixtures. The tech was professional and did a fine job. Was happy until they gave me a bill for materials and 1.5 hrs labor....almost $800. Yikes!! I feel violated. Will NOT use them again.

Called Best regarding a small leak under the kitchen sink. First appointment was missed and had to reschedule for the next day. Technician arrived and reviewed the situation. His assessment was exactly what I had thought, that the water was coming from the sink drain and required resealing. Even though this was what I had expected he gave me 4 estimates ranging from almost $1000 (that included new garbage disposals, even though the garbage disposal was working just fine) to $150 just to fix the leak. I sent him on his way with the $19 agreed upon service call fee. Ended up finding a local handyman that tightened everything up for $50.00. Lesson learned. The company is obviously hoping to upsell the client rather than simply address the issue at hand. I would recommend a company called HomeTech who not only services issues but in the case of appliances and other devices often replaces them for free.

Simply an awesome experience, Noah and Jonathon arrived on time, listened carefully about our needs and came up with a reasonable price. They were able to complete the job while on-site and were polite and neat. I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

Horrible service and lack of communication. Been dealing with them for months and haven't gotten anything resolved! Manager is USELESS!!!!!!!!

The best of the best.
They show up on time or early. Tech's are friendly and polite. Office staff is great, sympathetic to your needs. I called on a Saturday and got the same service as if it was a week day. When I called they gave me a time between 12-4pm and emailed me a picture of the tech along with a info on the job. Later they sent me an up date with a different tech and his photo showing he was coming earlier. Later the tech called and said he was 20 minutes out.
Within a couple of hours we had A/C back. On Monday I got a follow up phone call.
I would recommend them to all my friends and family
