Was lied to by Best twice in same day!!! New AC unit in 2021. Had restriction in line 14 months after install. Labor warranty expired. quoted me $2600.00 to repair by replacing coils and 2 other parts. Had work done by another company for $1500.00 and they indicated coils were fine. At same time had 220 outlet by stove area needing replacing. Electrician came out and said I needed a new line run from electrical box to stove. Quoted me $1600.00 for repair. Had certified electrician over who repaired outlet and small electrical box behind stove. Total repair $250.00. Both AC repair and electrician indicated that service techs from Best HOme Services had lied during their diagnostic test.

Ripped off!!! They changed me for unnecessary services. $199 contract with a $50 enrollment fee. Lied about having the Diagnosis be included in the services if performed. Did not include a written estimate before service's. Charged $532 for UV light bulbs which are no where near that expensive even for the good brand ones. Total Rip off! Do not ever use Best Home Services

They gave a price for the Electrical of $5700 and the plumbing was close to $11,000. The guy that gave my mom the quote for electrical should be fired. He had my mom so scared how her house was going to burn down she paid the deposit. I quickly canceled and called Dan House and they came out and quoted the electrical at $1800. Said 90% of what Best said was bull. For the plumbing Best wanted to tear everything up and replace everything. Called Aztec the found a crack in the pipe which had a 30 foot root in it. Yes 30 foot. Did a back flush and new pipe for $2000. Best House will take complete advantage of you and especially the Elderly. If we see them in our community now we will tell the owner to just tell them to leave and call Dan House or Aztec depending on what you need done.

I had to pick a star in order to continue my review but if I had a choice I wouldn't have picked a star at all.

This is by far the worse company I have ever dealt with. Buying our new home in SW Florida we needed lots of work with Plumbing, Electrical and HVAC. The previous owner had used this company so we thought OK we will continue their service. What a mistake.

We needed Plumbing and Electric ran down to our dock on the canal. Plumbing to be able to wash our boat and electric to boat lift we are getting ready to install.

Plumber Joe seemed very nice and knowledgeable. We told him where our property line was and to watch out for the irrigation lines on our and our neighbors property and described we wanted done and he quoted and performed the work. He used a trencher and dug the line. 1st He encroached on our neighbors property be to lazy to move some landscaping borders to stay on our propert. 2nd he hit an irrigation line and didn't tell us. 3rd when he filled it back in all the dirt washed away which at 1st we thought it was from the rain but found out later it was because he hit the irrigation line with the trencher and broke it. We had them come out to fill in the trench but the fill started washing away again which is when we found out he hit an irrigation line and broke it.

Electrician Matthew was even worse. He came when they were calling for rain and said it would be no problem. Him and his crew dug a trench threw the dirt on the neighbors property covering their sprinkler lines left the wiring hanging off the wall in such a mess. Their drink bottles in the yard. Then argued with us about what gauge wire he was going to use to go to the lift. We called complained asked that Harlan that quoted the job come back and complete it. The job was completed by Harlan and then we found out that Matthew while digging broke an irrigation wire.

After several weeks of waiting on a manager and a supervisor to call me back about all the issues I have had with their company and the way their employees performed their job and left my yard in a total mess broke my irrigation system and with me having to hire an irrigation company and landscaper to fix their employees mess. I am furious that I have STILL not received a phone call from anyone and also the Electrical permit is not closed out.

I would not hire this company. The employees that worked on my projects are not experienced and I also don't like the fact they keep sending out different people to work on the same project. I also don't like the fact that after numerous phones calls and complaints I STILL have not be contacted by a manager or supervisor after being told they will call me back that day. I would call again. Told they will call me back that day. Numerous times told the same thing......14 days later still no phone call.

I'm canceling my contract and will pursue call the BBB. I want compensation for hiring people to fix their employees mistakes

I had 30 people in town for my mother in laws funeral. The sinks in the kitchen and laundry room stopped draining. I contacted Ft Myers utilities to come out and check for sewer blockage. After inspection, he told me I needed my line flushed that ran to that area of the house. All wash room toilets and sinks were operational. I called Best Services, they said a person would be their shortly, but would not give a price. I told him what needed to be done, that the pee traps and main drains had been inspected already. He told me the going rate was $1800, just sign here. I questioned the price but he assured me that was the going rate. Having several people staying at my house, I said ok. The work was complete In less than 20 minutes.A few days later I called Best Services to question the price, she told me to get a price quote from a qualified competitor and e-mail it to her. She would see what could be done. I sent her a copy of Aztec Plumbing current add, after going to Aztec offices. The add appearing on TV that week. ANY MAIN DRAIN CLEANED FOR $159. She did say that was a promotion and they had a trip charge. After not getting a response from my e-mail, I called Best Services back, they referred me to a ""Supervisor"" who informed me there was nothing they could do, BECAUSE, I signed the work order. I did not ask for a price match, but come on. Work was fine, but I think something should have been done about that price comparison. Leo.T

My electric H/W heater started tripping the circuit breaker in my electrical panel indicating to me that the H/W heater elements needed to be replaced. They sent out their "" plumber"" to check it out. At this time he informed me that I needed a new H/W heater because it was 15 years old. He never did a resistance check on the elements, he just informed me that the water heater was not getting power.( duh).. the breaker is off.

He then informed me that I would need an electrician. He gave me an estimate for roughly $3000.00 to replace it. He then charged me $39.00 for the ""assessment "". He never assessed anything.

Next day ""electrician"" shows up to check the breaker panel and guess what?..

He wants to sell me a whole new electrical panel and straighten out al of the ""bad wiring""...wtf?...nothing wrong with my electrical panel. Another, you guessed it, $3000.00.

Gets better. Electrician dangles a new breaker in front of me and says that he would replace the old one for $1000.00. No thanks! I replaced elements myself and all is good. STAY AWAY FROM THESE VULTURES.

2 VISITS AND $40.00 LATER AND NOTHING WAS FIXED! THIEVES!

Call a real tech I had them come out to look at a leaking shower handle ask me if I was thinking of moving soon like it was going to cost a lot. Quote $1200 I declined but they charged me a trip charge $125 .
call ?/// Plumbling no trip charge 10 minutes said it was just a lime build up sprayed lime away on it moved it in a circular motion FIXED no cost .
moral of the story call a company that deals in what you need done not these Fly by Night do it all rip offs that just come and use scare tactics then say they need to send someone else out in a few days have to order parts and get this they will apply the $125 trip charge to the bill. Wow such a deal...
call a real plumber.

I'm absolutely dissatisfied with the service. I had on February 22 electrical work done, my house had to be rewired. Also my electrical panel has to be renewed. Applying for a permit from the city and installing I got a time frame from 2 weeks for permit and installing. Nothing has been done by now. I even contacted the technician I did the contract with. He knows that I'm under time pressure, he never called me back either. I would not recommend this company at all.

Worst company ever. We had an appointment scheduled and they gave us a 4 hour window. My husband waited all day and they never showed or called.....later that night they did call and said they couldn't be there, which was obvious, said they could come today March 1, my husband said they needed to be here by 8 am, as we had things to do. Shocker.....no one showed up and my husband called and they said they were giving us a 2 hour window to be there. Totally unacceptable for a company to operate this way. Your services are no longer needed and we will go with someone else who is more reliable and wants to satisfy their customers. If I could give a zero star I would!
