I cant say enough positive things about my experience with Berk's Electrical. Lights were flickering in my house & things were constantly shutting down with a overloaded circuit. Nadine was so sweet on the phone and sent someone over that day I called within 1 hour. Mike and another gentleman came over, assessed the situation and knew what needed to be done immediately. They had to move our entire panel to the garage so they ripped into our walls and installed a whole new panel in the garage and put everything on its on breaker. We have had ZERO issues so far. Great price for all the work they did and they hustled on the project and were completed within 1 1/2 days. They were so nice and informative!! I would 100% recommend them again. They cleaned up everything nicely and even re-patched the walls so it looks like nothing happened. Thanks again!

I called Berk's electrical. They provided a quote by phone which is really nice. I really appreciated companies who do not charge for quotes. They respected their quote although the work was a little more complicated but because they did not inform me when they realized that it should cost more they did not add at the end. This is a family owned business and it shows. They respect their word. They are professional they did a great job. Will hire them again for more work. Definitely recommend.

Beyond impressed with this company! They came out twice , helped me look for the right bulbs etc. Super patient, came prepared and worked so hard and my chandeliers are perfect! They also said they guarantee their work for years so I feel super safe if I need anything I can count on them. They all were so super sweet and wanted to make sure I was happy.

Berk's Electrical & Lighting was one of several Electricians invited to bid on more than a dozen electrical upgrades @ our home. They were the only Company to arrive at our home when scheduled, performed a very thorough review of the work & a couple days later emailed a very professional estimate, including length of work & approximately when they could begin.

After they were hired, they arrived when scheduled, worked across two days, completed all the upgrades and even discovered an error from a previous electrical connection of which they showed me a picture, explained the error & correction and asked permission to correct.

I'm a homeowner in Orange who needed new electrical for an HVAC system. I found Berks electrical online and gave them a call. Both of the people I have spoken with from their office have been a pleasure to talk. However, They scheduled a technician to be at my house at 10:00AM on October 23rd. 12 o'clock rolls around and no technician. I called the office and they said it was on the schedule for 1:00PM. They apologized and I let it go. Technician arrives, nicest guy ever. I think his name was Rael. Meeting went well and finished with him saying he would get back to me with an estimate for the work we discussed. Today, November 5th still no call from Rael or anyone from Berks electrical. I follow up with a call to their office this morning. Here's what they said "" sorry for not getting back to you. Our estimator has been backed up with other jobs. He should have your estimate by the end of the week""
Are you kidding me!!!! This is how companies go out of business. Sure there is a lot of work right now and business is good. But what about when it slows down and you can't lean on your reputation because you blew off someone like me.

My fuse blew on my panel and my ac. Stopped working. They came out fast and fixed the problem. The guy was very nice and new what he was doing. I was very happy with the work.

We had a problem with an outlet not working and because of that couldn't use my washer and dryer. I called yesterday and they made appointment for me between 8:30-10:30 and Guillermo showed at 9:30 and was very nice. He showed me everything he was doing with a clear explanation as to what the problem was and what he was doing to correct it. The price was great and Guillermo was very professional and friendly! But the thing that was most important to me was the explanation of why the outlet wasn't working and what he did to correct it! I will definitely be calling them again!!

We have a house in Irvine and have used Berk's in the past on a couple of occasions. They do good work and was reasonably priced. Recently, we had a exterior light next to the garage door go out. So we called Berk's and asked for them to come out, without asking about fees as I trusted them to be fair. What a mistake!!! The problem was a simple ballast that needed to be replaced. The worker did not have one on his truck so he needed to come back. Bottom line, they charged 389 dollars for a 15 minute job. The charge included 65 dollars for the ballast part which i subsequently checked online- you can buy the ballast for 13 dollars. I feel that they grossly over charged me and I feel betrayed as a former customer who trusted them. They are qualified and do do good work- however, there are many good electricians who also charge reasonable rates- I recommend that you take the time and find one.
