Had Evan wire up an entire new build and a remodel for an existing home. The work was clean and seemed to be all in good order. For the new build, Evan suggested I use a certain type of fixture so he could wire it in correctly to match their intended use. I bought these fixtures as suggested. But, when it was all done, I found that these fixtures were not working the way they were intended. Evan was unable to provide a reason for the lights not working as intended. He didn't fully troubleshoot the issue, and simply told me to buy different fixtures.
I called Evan back to the job site a few days after the work was done, as numerous plugs were not working, and a switch was installed upside down. The issues were fixed in a reasonable time frame but he was visibly upset and short with me for having to come back to fix the issues.
I then had to contact Evan a few weeks later for a separate issue on the wiring he did for the remodel. I simply needed to ask him a question on where he had terminated a line. He has still not responded to me after three attempts to contact him.

Evan rewired our 100 year old home from top to bottom, removing years of knob and tube, and rewiring a single wall construction home with care to ""hide"" most of the wiring. He also had fantastic suggestions that we had not thought of, like removing all the telephone lines, burying the hot tub wiring, and adding a generator outlet, which enhanced the property. Brodie and Evan worked diligently to insure that our old home was up to code, and safe. We would not hesitate to recommend him for any electrical work, large or small. He lives in the Valley and understands the quirks of these old homes, and is careful to preserve their beauty while making them safe for future generations.

Got Evan Benjamin Electric over at 530 tonight...took less than an hour to get the hot tub re-wired, hot, and up and running!!! Was able to give a licensed and experienced advice and tell me EVERYTHING that the previous hack did wrong. The crappy previous contractor Spent over a month doing and re-doing wiring and GUESSING...and guessing incorrectly. Evan showed up like an angel of mercy and BOOM...hooked it up. By 9pm I was chillin' in the hot tub! Go licensed....go local...go experienced...go awesome....Go to EVAN BENJAMIN ELECTRIC.
