Benchmark Electrical did a sub-par job and their pricing is ridiculous. I recently had two 30 amp circuits with outlets added to my garage. The outlets were installed just a few feet above and below my breaker box. I was charged $650 dollars for a few hours of work. I was told that I received a significant price break because the job was easier than what was reflected in their flat-rate pricing catalog. I don't mind paying a premium price for good workmanship, but that was not what I experienced. I now have to move one of the outlets because it was placed incorrectly.

I first used Benchmark Electrical when I needed an electrician to fix a job I'd had done by someone else that wasn't working. It was a holiday and I was leaving town. Sumar was the first person to get back to me and worked it so Taylor could help me that same day, so I could feel safe leaving my home. Taylor worked efficiently and quickly fixing the other job that had been done and installing 5 additional smart switches. I am so happy with the work and really grateful Sumar was able to make the schedule work for me. Taylor suggested that I install a serge protector.

I had the serge protector installed by Glenn. Glenn was on time, quick, and had a lot of information to keeping my home safe and things to watch for that I are related to weather in the region. I really appreciated Glenn's help me with something the builders should have done.

I love that this is a family owned business and the owners want to give great service at a fair price. This is a great team. I would strongly recommend Benchmark for any electrical services and will use them again for future projects. Thank you Glenn, Sumar & Taylor for top notch service at the last minute.

Had power outage after one breaker.
Called around 12pm and Sumar scheduled a 4pm-6pm diagnostics for us. Descripted the situation but we were told quote will be after estimation. Fair enough.
20 mins before tech arrived, they called us. Taylor showed within 5 or 6 mins around the scheduled time. Fix the issue and we got all other problems solved within not long time and with reasonable price.
They charge by service type instead of hours.
Like their style, small team that you can trust each other on their reliable work.

We were remodeling our home, and needed to update our electrical box, add some outlets, add a few outdoor lights and more. Joshua came out and gave us a quote, which was reasonable and we were happy to give Benchmark our business,. Joshua was thorough, neat, very kind, genuine, and a hard worker. Glenn came over for a while to help because it was such a lengthy to-do list, but they were able to get it all handled in one day. I really felt the quality of work was excellent and the prices were reasonable. They are my go-to electrical company from now on and I have already recommended them to my neighbors. I was having an issue with a circuit breaker tripping my garage door function. Taylor ran a diagnostic test throughout the garage and found the problem with an exterior light fixture.

If your husband isn't a do-it-yourself electrician, definitely call Benchmark. Such a great experience with Benchmark Electrical. Overall reasonable in price and Glenn was very knowledgeable about what needed to happen in order to hang some new island lights that apparently required a little extra support due to their all glass structure. Would highly recommend them and hope to be using them again in the future for any electrical needs.

My wife was home to deal with the electrician, who was very respectful, honest, informative, explained everything he did and why. Quick response too, they fit us in the same afternoon that I called. He replaced an interior breaker for our A/C and the exterior A/C ""pullout"" breaker, which had melted. Nice job! Thank you!

Glenn is very personable, knowledgeable, takes time to explain things and think through things with you, reasonable costs and reliable. They call before arrival with a very accurate estimate of timing. And his wife....the one who answers when you call. She is one of the sweetest people and will help lay out all of your options and work with your schedule. I called back multiple times with questions and her friendliness and patience never wavered.
