Bellows was very easy to work with for a Sewer Lateral Patch repair. Called and got an appointment for an inspection within days, and then Mike (Bellows inspector) was very helpful in explaining the work that needed to be done and recommended option. (Bellows was actually a second competitive bid which we looked into, and they pointed out an error with a competitor bid that proposed a repair for several thousand dollars more!) Repair work was conveniently scheduled for a couple of weeks later. They took care of all the utility company dig area checking/flagging, pulling permits & arranging final inspection approvals with the county. Highly recommend Bellows!

One of the worst experiences with a company I have ever had. I called Bellows because we had a leaky water heater. I was aware going in that we would have to replace it; likewise, I am well aware that our house is old and with old piping.

The guy who came out spent about an hour there. During this time he did the following:

Told me several times that he was ""really, really good at his job.""
Told me repeatedly that he was not trying to sell me anything - all the while trying to sell me something.
Told me over and over again that he could ""100% guarantee"" that my old pipes were going to blow and then said THREE times that if I didn't have a ""plan"" for dealing with it that I should ""sell up and move.""
Really?? I should sell my house and move because I have old pipes?

As I said earlier, I own an old house (and have owned it since the mid-1990s), so I am aware of my plumbing situation. I am a reasonable person and quite willing to have a reasonable conversation about my options.

This was NOT that. He talked AT me incessantly and encouraged me to ""finance"" the outrageous price he was quoting me: almost $4K to replace a water heater and over $12k to replace all the piping. It was clear that he was trying to scare me. Used the tactic of catastrophizing (all the while telling me how he ""wasn't trying to sell"" me anything""). Was pushy and a bully. Definitely some sexist undertones there as well (at one point I pressed record on my phone because I couldn't believe what I was hearing).

After the fact, I called my mother in law (she has done property management in the area for decades) and she said that this company is notorious for being pushy and for price gouging. She said that her company no longer used them and listed off several examples of people who had had similar experiences to mine.

Today we called another company who came right out. They talked to us about the pipes, gave several options with prices, and talked reasonably about the situation going forward.
Then they replaced the water heater for $2500. Job done.

I will never ever use this company again, and I plan to spread the word.

My heater was not working after thermostat had just been replaced ,( over $400). I called Bellows back and they scheduled me promptly, very nice customer service on the phone.. my technician was Michael and he was really great! Called first for ETA , arrived promptly. He was extremely knowledgeable in diagnosing the problem. It is a very old heater and I won't go into the details about that but his service was fantastic. He knew exactly what to do and was very polite, with suggestions and tips on how to save on my energy bill. I appreciated his expertise and his polite customer service!He explained everything very well. I felt very good about the visit! Thank you

I scheduled a sewer lateral inspection with Bellows and Jennifer Galvan was my technician. She was Incredible! Called when she was on her way, showed up on time, explained everything she found or saw in terms I could understand. Followed through with a phone call if I couldn't make it to the appointment. She's Amazing at her job and it shows. I hope Bellows recognizes her work efforts and I will keep referring all my clients, friends and family to Bellows.

Bellows came out for a leak inspection due to a notice I received from the water district about continuous water running at my house. I have dealt with water damage in a previous home, so this is always a stressful notice to receive. They discovered the leak coming from a water line outside. I received a detailed quote and set up an appointment for the work to be done after parts were ordered.
Jacob came to my house right on time and was extremely professional, confident, kind, and took the time to explain everything that was going on and would need to be done. In a stressful situation, Jacob made me feel confident that I had the right company to do the job. I would highly recommend Bellows!

Canceled appt. scheduled for 2 weeks 30 minutes b4 it was supposed to take place. Wasted valuable work time and an unnecessary trip to the place where the estimate was supposed to take place. If this is how they treat you when they want your money, imagine how they will treat you after they have it.

Had a problem where my heater wouldn't light consistently. They showed up, looked at it and said my heater was old and they probably couldn't find parts for it and I should buy a new one. They didn't even figure out what part I might need, or diagnose the issue, spent 20 minutes gave up and charged me for a service visit. I appreciate that I have an old heater but if your not even going to try and fix older heaters maybe you should ask about the issue during intake. Thanks bellows won't be purchasing my new heater from you.

The crew who worked at my house on a sewer hookup project were just fantastic! I can't say enough about how professional, hard working, friendly and great communicators Hector, Jose and Alexus were. They did an excellent job and even made sure I was satisfied before leaving. I would recommend them in a heartbeat! Also the communication from the main office was really good as well. Great company with great staff.
