I called Martin after I couldn't fix the exhaust fan in the wife's restaurant. Martin stopped on his way home and got it working in record time at a great price. He saved the day!!

I contacted Martin at Beck electric after reading al the positive reviews here on Yelp. I needed to have a chandelier installed over my dining table and Martin got back to me with a very reasonable quote and was able to work with my busy work schedule to arrange for someone to come in before I headed out to work. I trusted one of his worker's John to install while I was at work and I felt completely safe with having him in my home alone. He installed the chandelier to the exact measurements I gave him, but unfortunately it was a little higher than expected (not John's fault, since he worked with the measurements I gave him) Spoke with Martin the following day and he will see if John could come later this week to lower it slightly to correct my mistake. Great customer service. Plan on using them again in the near future to install some lights under my kitchen cabinet.

Beck Electric has done work at both my home and office over the last 8+ years. Their knowledge and professionalism are a cut above other companies that I have contracted previously. Regardless of which employee shows up to complete the job, the level of service was consistantly high. The accuracy and completeness of their work has always been great. On one occasion, my schedule was tight and the owner came out and completed the job himself to accomodate my schedule.

It is service like this that ensures that I will not take my business any where else!

I called Martin to install a range when the delivery people who brought my new range informed me that they don't do ""installation"" or removal for that matter (wish they had told me this when I bought it!). Martin got someone to my place promptly at 8 am the next morning and he not only removed the previous range, but he put it outside in a convenient spot for pick-up . He installed the new one, which was a tight fit but he skillfully maneuvered the new range into its narrow spot and got everything working. He then cleaned up every bit of the mess he had created, very impressive. Prompt, helpful, competent, competitively priced and clean, can't ask for more than that from a worker coming into your home. I will most definitely use this company for future electrical needs.

Great reliable service!
I had a problem with a ceiling fan, I called and Mr. Beck worked around a couple of options for my schedule. The electrician who helped me was Sergio. They are punctual, reliable, and clean! They are probably not the cheapest service out there, but the price is worth it because the service is great. Thank you!

Beck provides great service and cares for his customers.

Beck rewired my North Park home, updating it from knob and tube wiring. The job took longer than expected and cost more than expected due to some unforeseen difficulties. Nonetheless, I feel the pricing was fair and the job quality was solid.

My one complaint is that when the job ran long, it ended up taking even longer because it started conflicting with other scheduled jobs. I feel like this caused our job to lose priority. Nature of the beast, I suppose.

Again, Beck is trustworthy and provides great service. I will use him for future projects.

Great owner. Great worker. My stove hood all of a sudden decided to act up. The electrician came on time and found what the problem was (lose connection behind the circuit breaker panel) and fixed it all in 30 minutes. Could have charged me more, but didn't. Very impressed with their honesty.

Second time using this company. Miguel was our technician this time. He was early but had called ahead.the project, of course, installing a ceiling fan, became s major project with realigning a j box. Professional and kind. Highly recommend this company!

I recently moved to San Diego and bought an old fixer upper. I contacted several electricians thru various web searches and then flew out to SD to meet with them. 2 of 3 didn't even show up and the third never submitted a written estimate...only a cryptic text that didn't detail anything out. My wife suggested Yelp as a search method because of the user review access...well, Beck ELectric had great reviews so I called them. I was still extremely skeptical after all the no-shows...Martin called back quickly, met me at the house, provided a thorough, detailed bid the next day. I gave Martin the go-ahead and advised him I would NOT be in San Diego during the elec. update process which was fairly extensive including a new 200A panel. Martin's crew (Miguel) did ALL the work with only a couple phone calls to me and almost no mess or damage to the old house.
Lastly, when I flew back out to see the completed progress, everything was done exactly as I requested and Martin never once called with problems and upcharges etc. Pretty phenominal considering it was a very old house with a lot of unknowns etc. I've had Martin come back for some minor add-ons and we are also opening a retail dog grooming shop that FOR SURE Martin (and crew) will do the electrical work.

Plus...he's got a wry sense of humor that de-stresses the whole process. Go Beck Electric! Thanks, Doug & Nickie
