Martin came out and really took the time to design and explain what type of lights would work best. We set a date and time to have the work done. I called Beck Electric for a problem with flickering lights throughout my downstairs area. Both times John came to my place - the first time to diagnose and the 2nd time to perform the work after purchasing the needed supplies - he was very prompt and courteous. He is highly knowledgeable and was able to find the root of the problem quickly.

I really appreciate that he wanted me to see for myself what he found - for example, the burn marks on the breakers where electricity had been arcing. That made me even more confident that he was honest and not trying to sell me something I didn't need. He gave me several options and helped me decide what would work best for my home. Both he and Martin, the owner, showed as much urgency and concern about my problem as if it were their own home. John completed the work quickly and efficiently. No more flickering lights - yay! Martin came by, talked 10% of the time about how he can beat the prices of my current quote and 90% of the time about his girlfriend drama. Although annoyed at his unprofessional demeanor, I was eager for his estimate back and availability to start the job. Called, emailed, texted... he never responded nor returned any of my calls.
