I requested a quote on yelp because I recently purchased a house and was having an issue with plugs not working in the kitchen and master bath and also needed a closet light fixed. Out of all the companies who responded, Bear Electric was the most informative and friendly and I felt were very transparent and honest regarding costs and potential fixes. So I sent them my home inspection report and had them take care of all the issues listed in one trip. Am very happy with the end result! The service and price was great. Would absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for electrical help with their home!

I had an issue with 2 electrical outlets and 1 light switch not working properly. I called Scott and he was very helpful. He was able to set up an appointment with me via text. He was very respectful, helpful, responsive, and polite.

He texted me if he could come early and then texted me when he arrived. The communication was good. His troubleshooting skills were on point. He explained what he was troubleshooting and why. We found out there was another outlet that wasn't receiving power as well.

After troubleshooting, he found a solution to the problem. He fixed the 2 broken outlets and the light switch.

The pricing was fair for the work that was completed. The way the pricing was set could have been explained a little bit more thoroughly, but overall 5 star service. I look forward to using Bear Electric in the future.

Scott is really professional, responsive, and accommodating! We needed to have someone install an outlet next to the toilet, and we sent out the inquiry to multiple electricians, he was the quickest to respond and was knowledgeable and informative on our follow up questions. After we set up the appointment, I had to change it due to COVID vaccination appointment. He accommodated our request even during the weekend. When he arrived at our house, Scott and his coworker were polite, respectful and got the job done in 30 minutes. We will definitely work with him again for our future projects, also recommend him to our friends.

Other things I really appreciated: 1) Scott took time to explain and show me what the issue was. It's important to me as a homeowner to learn and be aware for future reference, and it also helps me understand the cost(s) of repair. I knew they were busy, so it meant a lot that they took that time. 2) The impending winter storm ended up changing their schedule somewhat. I appreciate that Scott did his best to get my appointment in before everything shut down, and he was great about communicating that change.

Overall, I'm more than satisfied with the work and with the experience. I have an older home and hope I can use Bear Electric for more projects in the future.

Bear Electric was the first place I called. I needed two new 20 amp outlets in my garage. I was given good price estimations and I agreed to it. They were in between jobs and had some extra time so they came over to the house and looked at the areas I wanted the outlets. After a thorough inspection, he let me know that pros/cons of putting the outlets where I wanted. He also gave me a creative option that gave me what I needed at half the cost if I was ok with accepting a particular configuration. I took him up on it and it came out very well. They were at the house for less than 45 minutes.

The end result is great. While it's not exactly what I had pictured, I would much rather have this than what I originally asked for given the extra complications it was going to bring.

There's no reason for me to call anyone else for electrical work. I will absolutely use them again.
