What I thought would be a replacement ended up being just a problem that could be fixed. My whole house fan sounded like it completely fell apart inside my attic so I called Sam for an estimate on replacement. I could tell he was busy from the background noise but he still took the time to give me an estimate over the phone. Once I bought the fan I called Sam for an appointment. Sam and Marvin arrived on time to fix my whole house fan but realized it was just a belt that needed to be repaired, plus a tone-up too. He could of just replaced it and charged me since I thought that was the problem but he saved me tons of money by just fixing it. I can now return the whole house fan to Lowes! Sam also checked the main panel and did a quick tune-up on it while he was here too. Sam is very knowledgeable and both were very polite! Bear Electric is now the company I will call for all my electoral problems at my house! I highly recommend calling Sam!

I put out a request for quote from Bear Electric and heard back from Sam within minutes. He gave me a fair quote to install an entirely new circuit breaker board, a security light, and a new outlet in the garage.

He arrived on time, and was professional, courteous, and respectful. He did high quality work, and checked after each job was done to make sure that everything was functioning properly. It is clear that he takes pride in a job well done. He also noticed that I had an outlet in my garage that was not up to code (original to my 1980 house) and was able to replace that, which I am grateful for.

My experience in working with him and his assistant Marvin was so good that he will be my go-to electrician in the future. I highly recommend Sam and Bear Electric!

Yelp has been our go-to site now for a while since we purchased an older home in the Wood streets here in Riverside. One of our concerns was the electrical in the house which we wanted looked over, but we also had several ceiling fans and light fixtures to be installed. Good reviews on Yelp (and a lot of them) helped us choose Bear and not surprisingly it turned out great. Sam and Marvin called right back, showed up the same day to see what we wanted, and finished everything the next day including some electric switch installs we decided to do since we felt good so good about Bear. It's obvious why they're so successful - quick return calls and quality service, good communication as they work, etc... The only down side is that they set the bar a little high for everyone else we've been working with. We got spoiled! First class company and they're permanently in my phone now.

Sam and Marvin of Bear Electric were courteous, reasonably priced, and professional. They installed some Ring floodlight cameras around our home, and managed to do so with very little drywall patching required. They also updated some of our lights with LEDs which were both brighter than our old incandescents, cooler, and much more energy efficient. They take pride in their work, and it's clear that they care about their customers.

I'll be calling them next time we need help with any electrical issues around the house, and I'd recommend them to my friends. Thanks guys!

Sam is great! He called me within 5 minutes and was here the next day. I had a problem where part of my house would lose power only every once in a while and no circuits were tripped at the breaker. He crawled into my tiny ass attic and followed all the lines to make sure everything was ok. He ended up finding the problem in an improperly installed smart switch (thanks,dad). Thanks, Sam for the super prompt response and fix for my power! I needed my internet!
---Edit: sorry dad, not your fault. Power went back out. Sam came back over as soon as he could. Luckily the power was still out and he was able to diagnose. It ended up being the city lines coming into the house that was making me lose power. He gave the the phone number and advised me to call them right away. They came out and fixed it. I haven't had any problems since. Thanks for all the help!
