Sam at Bear Electric has made me a lifetime customer. He went above and beyond helping me repair a problem with my main breaker. My lights were dimming and power was fluctuating throughout the house at about 9 PM last week. I called up Sam thinking there was no way he would answer the call. He didn't, but then called me right back a minute later. I explained to him the problem and we walked through some troubleshooting steps over the phone. Mind you it's late in the evening and I can tell he is a family man as I can hear his kids playing in the background during all of this. But he still took the time to figure out the problem.

He ultimately determined I needed to replace my main 100 amp breaker. I knew he wouldn't be able to come out right then because it was so late and there was no way I could find a store open to buy a replacement breaker at that hour. But Sam offered to sell me one of his if I wanted to swing by his house and pick it up. I drove over there, got the breaker, and we chatted for a bit. I could tell from our short conversation that he was a hard working, kind, and honest man. These are the primary characteristics you want when you're looking for someone to do work on your house.

And how bout the fact that he saved me hundreds of dollars by enabling me to fix the problem myself? He could have just taken me down as a customer and charged me $300-$500. But instead he went out of his way to give me a hand and for that, I'm incredibly grateful.

Sam and Bear Electric should be first on everyone's list when looking for a reliable and trustworthy electrician.

I have used Bear Electric's services 4 times already since my recent move, and I'm glad I found them! Sam is very quick, knowledgeable, helpful and very adept at his work. He always knew what to do right away, and was quick to fix all electrical issues in my home. He replaced and installed all my chandeliers, ceiling fans, ceiling lights, fixed all sockets that were not working, installed my recessed lights, and he always responded quickly whenever I called on him. Not only are Sam and his crew knowledgeable and efficient, but they are very professional and polite as well. I highly recommend them!

I am updating my original review of Bear Electric. Sam is a superb business owner and electrician...extremely honest and takes great pride in doing things right. He contacted me directly to find out how he could fix the problems I had with one of his young employees. I'm stunned at the fantastic work he did at our home this afternoon. He replaced 3 outside lights in our backyard and did a beautiful job. He removed the 18-year-old caulking that was embedded into the stucco from around the edges of each old light fixture, using a steel brush attached to his drill. Then he installed the new light fixtures and each light looks fantastic and the area around each light looks brand new!!! He also did some work inside our home. Sam replaced a damaged switch box at the base of our staircase (a major job) and was able to install a nice dimmer switch with very minor damage to the drywall (a small miracle in itself). Then he caulked around the switch plate and voila...it looked like brand new! We will never use anyone but Sam Ursu for all future electric work in and around our home!

Called Sam yesterday afternoon and he give me a quote for installing a 240v EV outlet. This morning they arrive on time and finish the job around 30-40 min . They also did extra and help us look at other electrical stuff and recommend me to change out some old breaker that could fail soon. Very professional and price is very good as well. He will become our long term electrician from now on.
