This company is Apsley amazing. Two of the companies could not fix what they fixed today. Came in diagnosed it had an answer for us within the first 30 to 40 minutes. After that was done and completed was an extreme pleasure to work with. Or for this company to my friends and family for sure.

The reason for my 1 Stars!
Yes...my panel had an over load which does require replacement however it was workable.
Situation:
When I was replacing my ceiling fans and practicing safe measure by turning off my breakers then to turn them back on. I discovered a smell and a small amount of white smoke. I quickly turned off all breakers therefore no power to my property.
I contacted Edison and Bear at the same time. Edison was on scene first...I was informed intelligently what happen...they removed my metered (left it with me) and even told me how to repair the problem. I told the employee of Edison I will let this company do it.
Paul arrived as the employee of Edison was packing up...that employee even told Paul his finding and left the meter open for 5 days to do the repair. I noticed Paul truly didn't want to listen to this employee. ( I found that odd)

Paul seen how everything was left by Edison, never touched a thing....quoted me $3500 to replace the entire panel etc....it would be DAYS WITHOUT POWER IN THIS DEADLY HEAT...

My situation was a correctable situation! In which he had the knowledge but wanted $3500.00 to do it!
He still wanted his $85 service call fee which he didn't do a thing, I paid it but sure want a refund! I had another license tech come out..inspect my panel as it is fixable to still provide power ( my bus panel was still fine, not pretty to the eye, all I need after full inspection new breakers! ) I will be replacing my bus/panel with this other company ( and I want to state this license tech was not the only tech that told me the same thing! Beside Edison)
I dislike when a person/company takes advantage of a person in their most vulnerable state! Left my family in the heat!!!!! My property power was restored by 10 pm that night, after a full inspection, replacement of the breakers, voltage
Even this quote was over quoted!

I had read Phillip reply.
I had correct the name of Paul to Phillip due to the reply as the invoice I have it's unclear as name appears to read Paul.

I had a very clear understanding not only by Edison (who did not see it as a fire hazard and left the meter open for the repairs otherwise that would place Edison in a negligent status) Phillip as two other license contractors of 25 yrs in regards to my panel.

It was a correctable situation which your company did not want to correct and it is not as Phillip stated he provides customers information they don't want to hear.

I heard clearly what Phillip had stated and I wanted it corrected. You company does not provide the opportunity to provide a customer the ability to correct with option to pay for the services, only the $3500.00 which is over price for the same services to replace the panel while my family was in need especially in these overbearing heat conditions.

Phillip you did not physical place hands or tools on the panel, all you did was look, talk and then wrote your invoice while the other contractor of over 25 yrs place hands, inspected thoroughly, probe, check the insulators, breakers, etc., and have an action plan to completely repair the panel.

I can definitely understand if you had your hands dirty for the inspection, have an action plan, negotiation a contract with a reasonable price to replace and repair the situation, then you earned your $85.00 service fee call.

This is the reason why you told me if I have my work done by your company you will apply that fee ( remember)

I will say you are knowledgeable in your field, never said you were not...but lack empathy for a potential customers.

If you decided to keep the $85 consider it a donation to further your bedside manners.

I highly recommend Phillip and his company Bear Electric. He originally quoted me for some electrical work. I was not ready to do it at the time of Quote, however, he honored his quote some months later when I was ready. He took me step by step through the whole project. Phillip conducts business with alot of integrity and takes great pride in his work. I could tell not just by his work but by the way he organizes his tool trailer!
