First, they actually answered the phone when I called! So many companies won't pick up the phone, and that blows my mind. I explained what was happening and what I thought I needed done. Once they visited my house it turns out the fix was much simpler than I had imagined and what they had quoted me for. Pricing was quoted over the phone at $85 for the first hour and $65 per hour after that to identify the problem and fix. After a few spot checks, technician concluded that previous wiring was wrong and wanted $1800 to replace (8) recessed kitchen light fixtures. That would have been almost $600 per hour. Unfair and unreasonable.

We have an historic house that needed a new roof, which included moving the electrical box. The company we were using said that we also had to replace the entire electrical in the whole house before they could move the box, and wanted to charge us over $46,000 to do it. Phillip recommended only changing out what actually needed to be changed, moved the box, and it literally costs tens of thousands less than that other company. Phillip was conscientious and went above and beyond to get the work done. We highly recommend him.

Summers in the High Desert are pretty brutal, especially so when your AC stops working. I needed someone to help quickly and called Bear Electric based on their reviews. First, the rep I spoke with had me show him picture of my panel so he knew what he would be working with before he came out.
