I would highly recommend B&C Electric and Peter for any electrical job you might have. We called him and he came out quickly and in the evening to give us an estimate after he finished the job he was doing that day. He was fair and informative and the quote was really reasonable. We had a Main electrical panel and a sub-panel replaced in the house we just bought that was 50 yrs old. He made quick work of that and it was clean and neat. He made great suggestions for things we could do in the future based on what we told him we were thinking of doing. We really appreciate his speed, honesty and genuineness. Give him a call. You won't regret it! all this was AFTER we had called a couple of other places that came and gave us a quote and tried to ""Up-sell"" us on EVERYTHING and add stuff that was totally unneeded. They did not give straight answers etc. So B&C Electric was a great contrast to the competition.

Peter was flexible and great about working with and around all the work we had going on with our remodel. He made sure to come out and work late into the night to make sure he completed the project for us. I read some of the complaints about scheduling but it's something we've experienced with many others in the trade as well. These guys are in high demand and some jobs sometimes run a lot longer than they expected, so they cannot always make it to the next site on time, but Peter always communicated. When he gets there he is fast and thorough.

Peter is a refreshingly polite, soft-spoken, intelligent guy. We had a puzzling loss of power on one of the circuits at our house that required some creative troubleshooting. Peter worked us into his schedule the day after I called him, came to the house, and performed a series of diagnostics that pointed to the cause of the power outage. He then made sure the circuit was wired properly, and ensured me that he'd return if the circuit failed again. Some may misinterpret his shyness for aloofness, but he's a really nice and respectful guy who actually listens to what you have to say. I highly recommend him.

He is always very honest, thorough , professional and recommends solutions to any electrical problems I have had. He is very reasonably priced. Peter installed a new panel to replace an old, dangerous one, plus a whole house surge protector and a few extra outlets for a very reasonable price. He also gave electrical advice for things we never knew about, plus helped me figure out why a fridge door wouldn't close properly and a hot water heater exhaust pipe problem. I see the one star reviews here and I don't know what's going on. All I know is that it's been difficult finding competent electricians who work for a fair price. I called one guy who (seriously) showed up drunk. I'd use him again in a heartbeat. Peter, not the drunk guy. In fact, I offered Peter a beer after his hard work in an uncomfortable, warm garage and he stuck to water and soft drinks.

Peter was very flexible with regard to initially arranging to come give an estimate for a half dozen items we needed to address before we put our home on the market. When he arrived (Friday) we went through the items and he gave us a very fair quote. We agreed and he was able to start that day, fixing three of them. He returned the next week and everything once again works.

Poor breakers, lower end equipment, etc. B&C revamped and repaired our entire electrical infrastructure including adding outdoor switches for landscaping. They are reliable and timely in their work. I recently needed a 240v outlet installed next to the circuit box in my garage for a Level 2
EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment). I called B&C along with several other companies and explained the work that needed to be done in detail. I was given an estimate over the phone which most companies were unwilling to do. The others required an electrician to actually come out, inspect the work that was needed, then give the estimate. The cost of the visit ranged from $35 to $85, which was to be rolled into the cost of the work. However, if you feel that the estimate is high, you are out the fee for the visit. I understand the reasoning behind this from a business perspective, but it was refreshing to have someone give an honest estimate up front. I was quoted $400 for the job which was slightly better than average based on other reviews for similar work. To my surprise, Peter (the electrician) said that he could be at my home in 2-3 hours, which I was not even able to make as I was out running errands. He ended up coming the next morning. Peter arrived the next morning on time. He was friendly, attentive, and efficient. The entire job took about 1 hour. He even mounted the EVSE on the wall for me, which I did not describe as part of the work to be done. I was charged $400 as initially quoted and the EVSE works perfectly.

After an hours-long do-it-yourself light switch project resulted in power loss to half a duplex, I did some Yelp searching and found Peter. When I called, fairly late in the evening, I spoke directly to him - no message, no waiting. I got an appointment quickly, he arrived on time, and he fixed the problem in about five minutes. (D'oh.) While he was here, he hung a couple of ceiling fans for me, and updated some outdated fixtures in the process. All done in a couple of hours at a surprisingly low cost. He will be my go-to guy for electrical projects from here on out!
