Usually when I leave a yelp review it's for a restaurant but I felt compelled to give a review to these folks since I called 5 different electricians and these guys were by far the most reasonable for a recess lighting job we had in the son's bedroom. Joel was awesome and he did great work. The lights are amazing. He was knowledgeable and efficient and man it's nice to get someone who is pretty happy about being at your house to do the work. I am impressed with the work, clean up, respect for customer, and overall quality of the work. We will be calling them again for future work! It's nice when your most reasonable estimate does great work and you're not sacrificing quality for cost. Great job Joel! Thank you again.

Sometimes companies grow and not for the better. The new technicians are less pleasant and whoever they have answering their service calls could certainly benefit from training as to how to treat their clients with more professionalism and courtesy. I probably used Bayside Electric services on more than a dozen occasions in the past, but I won't be using them again.

And please also ignore the owner's response. He is basing this on what he was told by the office manager who threatened me, was extremely unprofessional, and was more than rude.

We had Bayside Electric install some new recessed lighting throughout our house . As well as new switches . The electrician (Andruw), who did our installation, suggested that we install dimmer switches . I would have never known about these, had he not suggested them. They are such a nice added feature! We love our new lights. Andruw is very professional. He exhibits a lot of pride in his work and truly stives to please his customers. We would highly recommend Bayside Electric.

We just had Bayside Electric do 2 different jobs for us. They arrived the same day I called, found the problem and had it repaired the same day. The second time I called for service it was found my electrical panel had a partially burned circuit. Because I've owned my home for 33 years I decided to have the whole electrical panel box replaced. They were spot on courteous, efficient, and very reasonable. We we're very please with their service. I highly recommend this business to handle your electrical needs!!

I called Bay Electric 2 yrs ago for an estimate on stringing patio lights.
It took only one phone call to schedule an appointment. Joe came out, explained the scope of the work involved. He did an amazing job and the price was fair.

Joe installed 5 posts and strung 49ft of my lights, using lights I proved and their hardware for a total of $1000.00. I was super satisfied with the entire experience.
I love their work so much that I called them back a few weeks ago to have 24 ft of the same lights restrung that were removed during our pool construction. No new hardware, lights or cable would be needed.

Unlike the first experience; I had to call 4 times to make an appointment. They rarely answer the phone and do not return calls promptly. There is a message stating you can call a field rep for immediate assistance; however when I called him; he asked why I was calling him directly and not the office and said he would have the office to call me back- that never happen. This is also when I found out that Joe was no longer with the company.

I should have recognized the red flags and moved along. But I didn't because my past experience was wonderful and priced fairly. Boy, was that a mistake. Their quote for adding one additional post and 24ft of same lights without any new wire, hardware or cable was a whooping $800.00

How do you go from $1000.00 to hang 49ft of lights, add 5 posts, include new hardware,new cable and labor
to a whooping $800.00 to hang 24ft lights, add 1 post and no new hardware, or cable
I wish I could have given zero stars for attempting to rip me off- Bayside Electric shame on you!

Bayside Electric is my go to for all my electrical needs. The owners are involved in the work and are in the loop with the teams work. They respond timely to questions. Everyone on the team is professional and knowledgeable. Newer team member know when to call the boss for help and Info, which I appreciate. I'd rather have them ask up versus do something not 100% on and risk electrical issues. They have always arrived early; I've never been kept waiting for someone to show up. I've used them a few times already and they will be the only ones I call for future electrical needs.

Faulty/old wall outlet melted my appliance plug and scorched the plug.
In calling this AM and while scheduling for mid-week, a same day slot became available and the issue was actually able to expertly and quickly solved in hours! Friendly techs and all masked up. Great local service and company that is now MY electrical-issue resource. Well done, from start to finish, Bayside Electric!

Service was prompt and to the point! Bobby presented all of my options and was open about each, no pressure. Once I decided what to do, he was able to install my wall connector in a reasonable time with little to no interruption to my daily doings. Communication was great all the way through..
