Highly recommend Bayshore Electric!

I had Bayshore Electric bid on our job. We were adding LED can lighting in our living room, a light in a guest room and an outdoor security motion sensor light on the side of our house. John, owner of Bayshore Electric, came out and quickly advised on the best way to complete the job, which materials we should go with, was professional, nice and easy to talk with. His bid was very competitive with the other bids we received. We could tell that John and his team were professional and would do a great job.

We booked them to do the job immediately. John's guys that did the job were nice, professional and very meticulous in their workmanship. We are very happy with their work. They even stayed late to make sure everything was complete in 1 day and cleaned up very well after themselves.

In addition to the great service we received, John put us in touch with a great handyman for another job. Just like John and his team, the carpenter / handyman was great.

John also called after the job to ensure we were satisfied with his work. In addition, he called after the handyman's job was done too to make sure we were satisfied with that job too.

They are so professional, the only one that picked up the phone call right away and was able to schedule me an appointment to visit and to give me the quote. Their quote was the lowest compared to others. They came to install two chandelier sconces and automatic censor light in my hallway, changed 6 LED light bulbs. All done with low cost, no delays in timing, and the best part is John called me the next day to check if everything is working properly. That is called excellent service and they definitely deserve 5 stars! Thank you, John!

I contacted them via Tesla referral to install a charging outlet. I got a response from them asking for my schedule in a tone that suggested that I didn't do my job of specifying my availability. In reality, I filled out a form on their site that never asked about my schedule. I responded, only to never hear from them again.

Update: heard from them after escalating, will see how it goes this Fri.

I've used Bayshore Electric and John now for two jobs. Both jobs were professionally done as promised with a very friendly and supportive team.

The first project was to run Ethernet in our house, the team did a great job even as they came across some obstacles and finished the project and cleaned up nicely.

The second project was to replace a dated builder fixture in our kitchen with modern LED lighting. The project was against started/completed on time and the workers were tremendously friendly and sensitive to our home and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards.

Would definitely use again and highly recommend.

John is not just a great electrician, but also a very nice dude. He has done a masterful job with a variety of complicated wiring tasks in our old office building (so old that it shows up in pictures of Redwood City from 1925 and no one knows when it was built). I can't say enough about John the owner! He was fast, thorough, and professional. New in the area, my wife and I had been having electrical issues with installing our dryer. John came out (on a Saturday morning, no less!) and in a few short hours had the entire job appraised and completed to perfection, solving the problem quickly and accurately. It may have been a relatively straightforward job for someone with his experience, but his professionalism and courtesy tipped the scales in his favor when it comes to this review. In the future, we will absolutely call him first! A genuinely nice guy who does great work, and a local small-business owner to boot.
