I found Bayshore via Yelp and their 5 stars are legit. I called to get a quote on adding an additional 110v outlet in my garage. As I was speaking to John on the call, I asked if he thought I could do it myself. He walked me through the exact steps and material I would need. I decided to have Bayshore come out to my house and install it professionally. I had initially requested a few extra outlets be put in the garage (which would add additional cost), but Miguel, the electrician on site gave me some honest feedback that installing that many would be overkill. After the installation was completed, Miguel cleaned up the area he was working in. Bayshore is honest and helpful and will definitely use them again.

I hired Bayshore Electric to install a 300lb chandelier from Restoration Hardware that had over 500 pieces that needed to be connected. John provided a competitive quote and a reasonable timeframe to install. He opened up the ceiling to build reinforcements and lined up a subcontractor to repair sheetrock and touch up the paint. The work was completed on time and the work area was left very clean. Well done!

Standing ovation for John and Bayshore Electric!

We recently purchased an expensive fireplace insert for our mountain home in Woodside. But..we wanted the optional blower to enable efficient heating of a large, high-ceiling front room. Everything went pretty smoothly until the installers checked our closest electrical outlet for ground---and it wasn't grounded! We had chosen probably the only insert model on Earth whose blower will not work without proper grounding. The installation crew tried a few things, all to no avail. So, who ya gonna call?

Bayshore Electric, that's who we called....John came up to assess our problem the very next morning, gave us an estimate and an appointment, came back up on a very tight schedule, and did all of the work that was necessary quickly and neatly.

Our electrical problems at the site of the outlet that needed grounding were actually somewhat more complicated than we'd thought--it turns out somebody else had done something very shoddy with the outlet, a hard-wired light, and an associated wall switch with reversed polarity (and also no groundin) many moons ago. But John made it all right, and we couldn't be more pleased with the work he did.

I meant to write this review sooner but late is better than never. I came home late on a Saturday afternoon to find our unit had no electricity. This had been an ongoing problem with the electrical panel in our building, the lights would eventually switch back on. Sunday morning and still no power. Who do I call?? I got on Yelp and found these guys! They were able to come by that same day and fix the issue. The electrician was so friendly and informative. He got on the phone with my landlord and explained what the problems were. Took pictures of the problem areas and sent them to us. He was just great. I would recommend them to anyone.

I work for a low voltage company and I was doing a job for a client when we ran into an issue and needed a electrician fast. We looked one up on Yelp and gave them a call . John was great he scheduled us in last min and showed up at the time he said he would. when he showed up he was fast and clean with his work. John was also a nice polite dued .
