I just had a great experience using Bayshore Electric to solve an electrical issue.

I'm reasonably handy, but couldn't figure out why the GFI in my kitchen kept failing. It seemed like there was a short somewhere, but I couldn't figure out where. I called Bayshore Electric this morning, and before noon, two guys came out, spent a little less than an hour, and solved the problem - which was a loose neutral wire caused by a faulty wire connector in a junction box that I didn't realize was there. In the process, they had opened the other junction boxes on the circuit and identified and proactively solved some grounding wire issues that I wasn't aware of.

The guys were courteous, hard working, and quite competent. I will definitely call them again if I have another electrical issue.

backyard landscaping messed the electric system that handles pool pump/filters. Bayshore Electric guys showed up, a bit late then the appointment time at 8am. They check the whole electric systems and fixed the problem.

My impression is that they are courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient.

John came out to bid a project moving some wires and replacing my electric panel. He gave me a reasonable quote relative to how expensive that particular job is. He was able to start it very quickly. It took a little longer than originally estimated which was not surprising to me. I have a very old home and every project I have is more complicated than it seems like it should be. I originally met with 3 electricians and one of them told me he didn't want the job because it was too much work.

He bid the job very tight and the materials were more than originally estimated. We were able to work it out. His guys had to come back a few times as my home is a bit of a Pandora's box. It truly was a lot of work. I'm happy with the results and plan on having him come back out to quote replacing my broken outdoor lights on the house. I hope he will come back since he probably lost money on this job!

John is a busy guy, but it is worth getting on his calendar because they do good work.

Highly recommend Bayshore Electric!

I had Bayshore Electric bid on our job. We were adding LED can lighting in our living room, a light in a guest room and an outdoor security motion sensor light on the side of our house. John, owner of Bayshore Electric, came out and quickly advised on the best way to complete the job, which materials we should go with, was professional, nice and easy to talk with. His bid was very competitive with the other bids we received. We could tell that John and his team were professional and would do a great job.

We booked them to do the job immediately. John's guys that did the job were nice, professional and very meticulous in their workmanship. We are very happy with their work. They even stayed late to make sure everything was complete in 1 day and cleaned up very well after themselves.

In addition to the great service we received, John put us in touch with a great handyman for another job. Just like John and his team, the carpenter / handyman was great.

John also called after the job to ensure we were satisfied with his work. In addition, he called after the handyman's job was done too to make sure we were satisfied with that job too.

They are so professional, the only one that picked up the phone call right away and was able to schedule me an appointment to visit and to give me the quote. Their quote was the lowest compared to others. They came to install two chandelier sconces and automatic censor light in my hallway, changed 6 LED light bulbs. All done with low cost, no delays in timing, and the best part is John called me the next day to check if everything is working properly. That is called excellent service and they definitely deserve 5 stars! Thank you, John!

I contacted them via Tesla referral to install a charging outlet. I got a response from them asking for my schedule in a tone that suggested that I didn't do my job of specifying my availability. In reality, I filled out a form on their site that never asked about my schedule. I responded, only to never hear from them again.

Update: heard from them after escalating, will see how it goes this Fri.

I've used Bayshore Electric and John now for two jobs. Both jobs were professionally done as promised with a very friendly and supportive team.

The first project was to run Ethernet in our house, the team did a great job even as they came across some obstacles and finished the project and cleaned up nicely.

The second project was to replace a dated builder fixture in our kitchen with modern LED lighting. The project was against started/completed on time and the workers were tremendously friendly and sensitive to our home and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards.

Would definitely use again and highly recommend.
