We had recessed lighting installed in our old home (had no recessed lighting at all before). The owner himself came to give us estimate. He was very professional and wasn't pushy at all.

It took us sometime before we can schedule a installation with him (he had previous big contract works) but it was worth a wait as his installation was very clean and professional. After installation it look as if my home has recessed lights preinstalled. :)

Our living room has a really high celling which took him sometime to get it done but he was very particular throughout the time. He was very punctual, professional (making sure none of other furniture gets messy) and was always on time every day. He also covered all the patches he made and applied paint on top (paint you have to provide as he wouldn't know what exact paint was on wall). Final finished work was really clean and can't even see where he fix the patch.

We really liked his work and has recommended to many of our friends and family.

I had difficulty getting a electrician to come to my home and deal with the two small projects that I had. Hourmouz came over on Friday afternoon and stayed over until 9 o'clock at night to finish the work.
The first project was to replace the ballast for my kitchen fluorescent light. He had to visit the hardware store twice and eventually found a better solution by replacing the lights with new fixture. He took time to explain the rationale for his recommendation in language I could understand.
The second project was to identify and repair the short in my living room chandelier. He fixed the problem and explained the issue in clear and concise language.
Hourmouz is a very professional and decent man. His work is high quality and his prices are very reasonable. He cares about customer satisfaction and proceeds only when the customer fully understands the reasoning for the actions proposed. I strongly recommend him and will only use him for all my electrical projects in future. AM

Hourmouz installed recessed LED lights in our living room, office and one bedroom, he replaced all our old LED lights in the bathrooms and kitchen, and he installed a chandelier in our master bedroom. The living room has 20', sloped ceilings, which I thought would be a difficult installation, but he made it look easy! The lights look great, he aligned them perfectly, and installed them in exactly the right place on the ceiling. Hourmouz takes tremendous pride in his work, and he pays attention to all the details. For example, the installation of the recessed lights required opening the drywall to access the wiring. He made the smallest possible holes, and then patched and re-surfaced them perfectly. We had three offers to do this work, and Hourmouz was the only one who included the dry wall repair in the offer (the other two contractors refused to do it). He was also significantly less expensive than the most expensive offer, and competitive with the other. I'd recommend Hourmouz to anyone, and I'm very happy to have his work lighting up our house.

Hourmouz did a great job putting in 28 LED recessed lights (some upstairs, some downstairs) with dimmer switches in our home. He's professional, meticulous, and communicates well.

At the time, we had gotten another quote from another guy (not licensed), and the prices were relatively comparable. We decided to go with Hourmouz even though his bid was slightly higher. Basically, his pricing is very fair, and you got top-notch quality work for the money. Hourmouz is also a licensed electrician, so you can feel more assured about the safety and quality of his work. He also did a good job patching and painting the areas where he had to cut through our drywall.

He's also done lighting work for my in-laws and some family friends. We all love working with him, and all of us can wholeheartedly recommend him for your lighting and other electrical needs.

After finally ready to have some recessed lighting installed, I started my research for a local electrician who would be the right fit overall. I messaged Hourmouz as he quickly responded back and I scheduled an appt for an in-home estimate. He was very friendly and professional with a cool vibe that makes you feel confident and comfortable. I accepted his estimate that I thought was reasonable and he had very good communication throughout the entire process. The day of installation, he was on time and started work immediately with all of the great preparations including assisting me with moving some furniture out of the way as he also put drop cloth on my wooden flooring which I appreciated. He did have to cut through some drywall to run some new wiring but afterwards, he did patch up and painted as it looked clean and well done. Overall I was very satisfied with his service as I will definitely call again, I highly recommend Bay Sun Electric.
