After finally ready to have some recessed lighting installed, I started my research for a local electrician who would be the right fit overall. I messaged Hourmouz as he quickly responded back and I scheduled an appt for an in-home estimate. He was very friendly and professional with a cool vibe that makes you feel confident and comfortable. I accepted his estimate that I thought was reasonable and he had very good communication throughout the entire process. The day of installation, he was on time and started work immediately with all of the great preparations including assisting me with moving some furniture out of the way as he also put drop cloth on my wooden flooring which I appreciated. He did have to cut through some drywall to run some new wiring but afterwards, he did patch up and painted as it looked clean and well done. Overall I was very satisfied with his service as I will definitely call again, I highly recommend Bay Sun Electric.

We got Hourmouz to install recessed lights in three rooms, two with attic access and one without. Hourmouz visited the place and gave us a quote. The quote was very reasonable. He finished the work on time. Hourmouz and Alan did an excellent job. We were extremely satisfied with their work. They even patched the dry wall and ceiling, textured and painted it. They even fixed a three way switch which wasn't working correctly (I didn't even have to ask for it) Hourmouz and his crew are very professional and excellent in their work. My wife and I wanted to install overhead lighting in the living area of our new house before moving in. We called Bay Sun Electric and Hourmouz came over that evening to go over our options and give us a price quote. His quote was lower than another electrician we had contacted by phone and Hourmouz's quote included re-finishing the ceiling (which the other guy wouldn't even do).

Hourmouz was extremely professional. He arrived right on time and installed all 5 light fixtures installed, patched and painted the holes in the ceiling he used to run the wires and cleaned everything up in less than a day. The LED bulbs he recommended are fantastic and the light fixture installation looks great!

I highly recommend Hourmouz and will be going back to him anytime I need an electrician in the future.

Hourmouz was able to arrive same day that I called him and started the work. I needed an electrical plug for a clothes dryer installed. It was a brand new home and the laundry was plumbed for a gas dryer only. I had been given a quote of $1050 by Maine Electric and thought that was high so I got a second estimate. Boy am I glad I did. Not only did Hourmouz quote me a price for the same exact work at 1/3 the cost but he also took care of installing a couple other outlets in the master and even still was less than $600. (Maine Electric would have charged $378 for each of the two additional outlets, bringing their total to $1800.)

Hourmouz did the work in a very professional manner. He had to cut holes in the dry wall in order to run the wires and he was able to patch and paint in a way that one could never tell the wall had been cut into. That was very important to me since this was a brand new home.

I was super impressed with Hourmouz and have referred him to two of my friends. I hope they call him and I know I will if ever i need an electrician again.

He helped us upgrade both our kitchen and one bathroom from old fluorescent tube fixtures to the latest 6"" Halo LEDs. He even filled in the open area occupied by the old kitchen fixture with new, flush drywall, for a modern, professional look. His assistant was also very efficient and professional.

Since we were preparing to sell our home, he noticed that we were not up to code in our kitchen, and he discovered our 1979 electrical panel was all used up. Because we were using a gas clothes dryer, the two circuits reserved for that were not being used, so he found a solution and wired a separate, second GFCI protected circuit to our kitchen so we were safe and up to code.

We were so impressed with the service that Hourmouz provided us, that we asked him back to upgrade all the rest of our electrical switches and outlets to the best modern Levitron models that he recommends, and they look beautiful all throughout our home.
As before, he made a trip to the store and returned with the right products at an amazing price.

Hourmouz is fantastic to work with - punctual, honest, friendly and just very efficient with the work. I had 25+ recessed (and some pendant) lights installed - some of them were tricky to do because of no attic access - Hormuz was able to cleanly cut through the drywalls, jump through the beams, rewire everything and neatly close all the carvings. He completed the job within the estimated time and if I need any more electrical work done, I'll certainly reach out to him.
