I would give 10 stars if I can. I am very impressed with Raymond's work. He is a thorough professional and I really liked his work.

I called so many people to get recessed lighting installed in my house, lot of companies here with 5 stars did not even bother to reply my calls and others whom I have talked to are way too expensive and they said we just install lights you need to hire to fix any kind of patchwork if sheet rock chips etc etc and they just wanted to nickle and dime you for every change.

Raymond is the only one person who gave me reasonable quote over the phone so I called him to check the house and he quickly told me how many I need and the complete estimate and if I am good with estimate he said he can come next day to start work. I asked him to come and he said he will come at 9 AM and he was right at the door at 9 AM and he finished the work on time and he cleaned up his work. And my old house had some challenges and he did not even complained about it and found ways to do the job. From now on any electrical work in my house will go to Raymond.

This review is a few months over due. We hired an electrician to install our new convection oven and he royally screwed up. I called Hewlett Electric to see if they were available but they couldn't help me out :( However, they referred me to Bay Lights Electric and it is by far one of the best referrals ever. I left a message for Ray and he called me back within a reasonable time. I explained to him the situation over the phone and by noon he was at my shop. He explained the issue, the solution, and the different options we had before purchasing parts. Ray is a very honest businessman, the kind that no longer exists, but most of all he is competent and professional. I will be referring him to friends, family and business partners.

I recently just had recessed lighting put into my condo and I would like to give 6 stars if it were possible. I had searched around and got several estimates, and Bay Light Electric was the lowest price, with the highest reviews. I called Raymond and he came by on short notice to discuss the placement of the lights. They got to work that weekend and did an awesome job. I live in the middle of a 3 story unit with sprinklers, ducts, and all sorts of pipes running through. Regardless of all the obstacles, they installed all the lights perfectly, and I couldn't be happier.

I highly recommend these guys if you are deciding to put in recessed lighting!

Bay Light Electric is the electrician we hired for a 200 AMP Service Upgrade, dedication to the appliances within our home, four new exterior outlets and new light fixtures for each side of the garage door.

Initial phone contact was with Raymond, who 30 minutes after talking to him on the phone was at our site to review the scope of work. We received an estimate via e-mail on the same day which itemized what they were going to do; we accepted the proposal.

He showed up on time with his crew, Albert and Jose, all three were always on time and polite. When talking to him throughout the job he did not hesitate to answer questions about other problems we were having with electrical. He worked well with the City inspectors and was familiar with Silicon Valley Power (City of Santa Clara provides electrical to us, not PG&E). The stucco guy he used did a great job.
The amount of sheet rock removed to reach wiring was nominal compared to what other electricians had proposed or flat out said was too hard to reach and then offered inflated prices.

Overall the Bay Light Electrical team was responsive, neat, thorough, professional and completed the job for the proposed price. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone having residential electrical work done.

We have found our electrician for life! :0)

Raymond is the BEST!! He installed recessed lighting in my condo and I absolutely love it! All of the alignment of the lighting is sharp and he helped me make a judgement on how many lights he thought would be enough.

After he left, I realized it would be great if I had a dimmer on my lights. I called him and he scheduled time the same week to come in and swap the lights and put in a dimmer.

Ray completed a panel upgrade for us. His quote was the lowest of the seven that I solicited in the San Jose area (including most of the high-rated Yelp companies). He was easy to work with and prompt to return emails and telephone calls. When the time came to begin the project, Ray showed up on time and completed the work on schedule.

As an added bonus, the stucco repair guy that Ray recommended did great work at a great price as well. He quoted me on Friday and showed up the next morning at 8:30 to complete the work.
