Since 1950, Basin Electric & Technology has led the way in fulfilling the electrical and technology needs of Midland, Odessa, and neighboring communities. Basin Electric was established in 1950 by Theron Gamblin. Shortly thereafter, in 1951, O.D. Schoolcraft and his son Charles joined the growing company. Since then, four generations of the Schoolcraft family have contributed to the Basin Electric legacy. Yet, the success of the company is not solely attributed to the Gamblin and Schoolcraft families. Throughout the years, the hard work of Basin Electric's staff and their families has been essential to our growth. Our company started with only six team members in 1950. Amid the economic struggles of the mid-80s, when others were folding, we carried on with just three employees. Today, we are a thriving family of over sixty employees at Basin Electric. In 2014, we advanced into the future by joining forces with Just Macs, a local tech business owned by Henry Greer. This merger allowed us to evolve into Basin Electric & Technology.

Once I committed with them, I was able to get on their calendar within a week. The electricians come out, verified with me what I wanted done and did an incredible job.
