For generations, Basin Electric & Technology has been a trusted provider of electrical and technology services in Midland, Odessa, and the surrounding regions. The inception of Basin Electric took place in 1950, thanks to Theron Gamblin. Soon after, in 1951, O.D. Schoolcraft and his son Charles embarked on their journey with the emerging company. The Schoolcraft family has been part of the Basin Electric story for four generations. The achievements of Basin Electric are also due to many other families who have supported its growth. Over the years, the dedication of Basin Electric's employees and their families has been vital to the company’s expansion. In 1950, we started with just six employees. In the tough economic climate of the mid-80s, while many companies shut down, we continued with only three staff members. Today, we are a thriving family of over sixty employees at Basin Electric. In 2014, we took a significant step forward by merging with Just Macs, a local technology company led by Henry Greer. With this acquisition, we transformed into Basin Electric & Technology.
