For generations, Basin Electric & Technology has been a trusted provider of electrical and technology services in Midland, Odessa, and the surrounding regions. The inception of Basin Electric took place in 1950, thanks to Theron Gamblin. Soon after, in 1951, O.D. Schoolcraft and his son Charles embarked on their journey with the emerging company. Four generations of the Schoolcrafts have been integral to the Basin Electric family since then. However, the Gamblin and Schoolcraft families are not the sole contributors to the company’s success. Over the years, the dedication of Basin Electric's employees and their families has been vital to the company’s expansion. We began our journey in 1950 with a mere six employees. Amid the economic struggles of the mid-80s, when others were folding, we carried on with just three employees. Now, Basin Electric is proud to be a family of more than sixty committed employees. In 2014, we advanced into the future by joining forces with Just Macs, a local tech business owned by Henry Greer. With this acquisition, we transformed into Basin Electric & Technology.
