Mike recently installed a ceiling fan for us and he was wonderful. He called me back the day I initially called him and came out the following day to give an estimate. He was pretty booked so it took a bit of time for him to do the work, but he arrived right on schedule and did a wonderful job. His price was reasonable and he was very easy to work with; knowledgeable and a delight to have in the house.

P.S. we got another bid that was outrageous, but Mike was honest and fair. We have already recommended him to two friends. Will absolutely contact him again for any further electrical needs. And he liked our dog!!!

Mike did an AMAZING job installing string lights on our patio overhang today! He was recommended by our community's message board as a great electrician, and now I see why-- he arrived on time, his price was unbeatable (the next lowest price quote that I found was twice as much), and he was very professional and went above and beyond to carefully measure the string lights before securing them to the patio overhang in a really great looking way. The result at night (when the lights are on) is even better than we imagined-- our backyard is magical now =) Thank you so much, Mike! If you're looking for an honest and friendly electrician contact Mike. I told him over the phone that I already have an existing light fixture that I want to replace with a 70"" ceiling fan. He gave me a very reasonable quote and arrived early the day of. When he arrived at my house I changed my mind and wanted the fan relocated somewhere else. He had to run wires in the attic and create a new outlet. And guess what... he did not charge me a dollar more! Unheard of right?! I have to make sure we do all of our electrical stuff in the house before Mike retires because I refuse to use anyone else. Mike, Thank you for your hard work and honesty.

Electricity in my kitchen went out suddenly in Saturday night. Never having a need previously for an electrician, we searched the internet for local electricians and left messages with several. Mike Bartel responded promptly on Sunday morning. Mike arrived on time as promised, quickly assessed the situation, and discovered the problem. Previous work completed by a non certified electrician was corrected, which included several trips in the attic. Upon my request, Mike also changed several outlets to GFCI Safety outlets. He also discovered and replaced a circuit breaker that was not working. I now feel much safer about the electrical situation after having Mike inspect my house. Mike was here for 2 hours . I felt for the work he did and the effort he gave, his bill was far too conservative, so I tipped him 25%. I like people who are responsive, arrive as promised, know their trade, and are professional. Mike Bartel is all that and more, and will have all my future business.

We checked the Better Business Bureau recently for a reliable electrician. I contacted five electrical companies that had A+ ratings for a quotation. In each instance I described, in detail, the electrical work we needed. Mike Bartel provided us with the most reasonable quotation. He arrived promptly on the day and time we had agreed upon, surveyed the work that needed to be done then went about protecting the area with a tarp. He performed the work very efficiently and left the rooms he worked clean and free of any debris. He was extremely professional and as another review states, he has a great sense of humor. His pricing was very fair and reasonable and there were no surprises. I would highly recommend Mr. Bartel for any electrical work you may need.

I have personally used Mike for the last 13 years. He is funny, very polite and a very reasonable and a very ethical electrician! I have had him work at my warehouse/office recently on several occasions, he always does what he says, he is great at what he does, and is fair on the pricing.
