So finally I'm able to write a true review of Rick's work. I apologize that I didn't get this out sooner. Let me start by saying that Rick is a nice guy. He and his help Kyle were so great when they finally were able to come and do the work. The work was excellent, quality, and they were quick. Rick really knows his electrical. The price is right as well. We are throughly and finally able to enjoy the living room now that we have lights in there. Just a few things to note with this company. He needs to be have a calendar so he can book appointments when people are ready to book and call him. He seems a bit disorganized but is very knowledgable about the homes around the area he works in. He didn't need to come out and give me an estimate. The only other thing Rick did not explain to me is he does not repair drywall. If they have to cut into the drywall make sure you or you have someone to patch the drywall after the install of the recessed lights. I would definitely recommend Barger Electric.

Barger did an excellent job of installing recessed lights in a bedroom and an exhaust fan/heater combination in a bathroom ceiling. The price was good and the work professional. Then the plastic ""cover"" to one of the recessed lights separated from the fixture and fell down. However my son-in-law was able to glue the ""cover"" back on by holding it in place with frog tape while the glue dried. Then a few weeks later, the same thing happened with a second light, so I called Barger. Rick was as surprised as I was since he had never seen this happen and he replaced both defective lights with new ones. I plan to have a heater installed in a secondary bathroom and will definitely call on Rick Barger.

After finding an ad in the local smart saver magazine, I contacted ""Rick"", the owner of Barger Electric. He was very professional on the phone, and quoted me the price right away after I told him that I needed 4 recessed lights installed in my dining room. He's very busy, since his work is top notch, and his prices are much better than most, but after a few days, we locked in a time and a day to start the job. He showed up on time, and finished the job in under an hour and a half! As I said before, his prices beat the other 3 places I called, and believe me, I'm sure the quality of his work was better than they would have done! There was only one hole to patch above the switch by the ceiling after he was done, and he even corrected a ceiling fan problem that my contractor had messed up on. If you need any electrical services, Rick is the guy! I'll hire him again if I need any other electrical work done.

Rick is busy because he is in high demand. There are good reasons for this: quick to respond, efficient with the job, great prices, and a true pro. Three new ceiling fan outlets were installed in the roof and no trace of any kind of mess. When I need an electrician, I will be calling him.

Made the mistake of having an unlicensed handyman come and install two ceiling fans. Total disaster: wobbly fan, no electricity to two walls, LED light didn't work etc. Called Rick who came out with his apprentice Sean and together they fixed the mess the handyman had made. Reinstalled both fans, got the LED light working, and redid wiring that had been cut. Quick, courteous, and prompt with great communication skills at a very reasonable price! Highly recommend and will definitely call again for any electrical needs! Thanks Rick and Sean!
