I've had Ballard Electric come to my house twice now; I went off the recommendation of my friend. These guys are super friendly, do excellent work, are meticulously clean. They're also very reasonable with their rates--something that has actually surprised me twice now! Let's just say that this hasn't been my experience with OTHER electricians! Ballard, you are my go to team from now on! I wish I could give you guys MORE than five stars.

Hate to admit it, but I have an immediate adverse reaction to working with electricians, plumbers, painters and all other sorts of home repair that are notorious for high rates, poor response and endless run-around.
To say the least, the folks at Ballard Electric (and Frank, in particular) may have changed me forever. Or set a new standard by which I will measure (and expect) all other companies to meet.

Needed a full panel upgrade and NeMA plug installed for an EV charger.
From the first contact on Yelp, to phone call to service, responsiveness, reliability (even when they had to come back a second time to help me revise something to accommodate my new EV charger) - they were fast to help. I was told they were very busy and the first appointment was the following week - but then I get a call and they managed to come out the next day!
(and I expected to pay more...and there was no additional charge! My mind was officially blown!)

I'm naturally skeptical of a company that only have 4 and 5 star reviews...but this one is truly earned. If you need electrical work, stop here. These are the guys that will take care of you, better than the rest!

Prompt reply after leaving message, estimate for service lower than all the other companies. Two electricians came and did a great job, and the actual price was even lower than originally quoted. Very happy and will use again!

The crew of 2 showed up on time and fixed our problem within 30 minutes. Our dishwasher suddenly stopped lighting up & wasn't working when we opened the door. We could not get electricity to the unit, and our warranty had expired. They found the problem in 10 minutes, fixed it, replaced the breaker switch and we were good to go. We've always had prompt service from Don & his crew. They're always friendly, courteous, efficient and willing to explain what needs to be done, so that a layman can understand it. I recommend them wholeheartedly!

What really differentiates the best businesses from the others is how they deal with problems when they occur on a job because, no matter how skilled you are, things don't always work out right.

I recently had Ballard do a repair at my home. The first two fellows they sent did not complete the job properly. Without any hesitation or complaint they sent another couple of electricians and purchased new parts to
correct the issues at no additional charge.

I am very pleased with the final result and will use Ballard Electric again.

We needed an Electrician to come and fix some sockets, and they did a thorough check for any problematic areas by accessing our panel. They replaced 5 sockets that were bad. Our home was built in 1972, and the wiring is old. I was expecting a huge bill. The price was completely reasonable, and we saved a few hundred dollars by using Ballard. I must say the 2 men that came out were professional, they knew exactly what to do. They were extremely helpful, and very clean. They knew a lot more than most electricians I've come across. We were extremely satisfied with the entire experience. Frank who books the jobs out is also very knowledgeable, and doesn't have a greedy bone. I highly suggest Ballard Electric!
