Did a thorough tuneup on our unit and explained the various services we can access through Baker Brothers. Glad we discovered them. Called for service on hot water heater. No hot water or pressure. Bill knew exactly what was wrong and fixed the problem immediately. Always great service from Baker Brothers. The techs are very helpful and knowledgeable. Great experience.

When I called to make the request for service, I was very specific as to what the problem was. The 1st technician, Wyatt, was not able to finish because he had to call for a ladder team. His charge was over $300.00. He said he gave me a 5% senior discount, which I had to ask for. The second technician, Blake, had to demolish the ceiling to find the problem and told me that he was unable to repair it and that we needed a new shower.
I also noticed that the top of my fairly new dryer, which sits under the hole in the ceiling has a small dent. There was no protective covering on my washer or dryer. Two wet towels were on the dryer. Wyatt had asked for them so he could mop up water on the floor. I noticed the dent when I removed the towels to clean up the mess left behind. It's not a big dent, but it's there. I have a hard time believing that it was not noticed by Blake, and he should have told me. This probably happened when the plywood was cut by the helper and it fell. There was no ladder used. I am sure Blake's helper stood on the dryer.
The total charged was $567.00 for nothing.
This is the second time that the first technician who came could not do the job and a second technician had to be called in. Last month, again, I was very specific, when I called to request service. Needed a new flapper for the toilet and I had a drain issue. That bill came to $161.72 on March 20, 2025 and $819.36 on March 21, 2025.
We believe that the problem could have been repaired with a new insert into the shower drain to close the gap and sealing it, and that a new shower is not necessary. I feel ripped off by Baker Brothers. I am being very polite.
I have to hire someone again to fix this issue with the shower, and then a contractor for the ceiling. I am furious!!!

Baker Brothers came through like a champ. I actually didn't look for them immediately but after looking and looking I finally reached out to them and gave me the best price and very prompt in taking care of our water heater in no time flat. Highly recommend Baker Brothers

We live in an older house with cast iron pipes. We had no choice but to replace the pipes. I had five estimates, checked Better Business Bureau, yelp and interviewed my neighbors. I am so pleased with the work Baker Brothers completed. Alfredo Meza explained each step of the process. (One of the other plumbers was very condescending toward me. Since I'm female, it is obvious that he thought I was unable to understand.) Alfredo was on site for the trenching and refill and did the plumbing himself. Extra dirt was removed from the site and my yard looks as good as new. Alfredo gave us first class service and professional work. I highly recommend Baker Brothers.

I called this morning because I woke up with no heat. The technician was at my house in about 2 hours. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. The technician, Trenod, was very knowledgeable and professional

Do not use these overpriced scammers. Shame on me for putting up with it for so long. First, they tell me they can't fix a toilet that I've now found out just needed a $20 part to repair and then charged me $700 to install a new toilet I don't like. It also has aesthetic issues.

Next, they charged me $600 to replace the cartridges in my shower valves.

The final straw was when they came out to replace a closet flange for a different toilet. Charged $168 to remove the flange and quoted me $384 to put it back on after I reinstalled the water damaged flooring (why I was doing this in the first place). Then when they came back out to reinstall it, they quoted me $800 plus $500 to install the toilet and I told them to get out of my house and that they'd lost me as a customer.

I had another plumber come out, install a closet flange, install the toilet, and fix the same problem from the first issue above (I had the same toilet everywhere in my house before they threw out the perfectly good one), all for $345.

Let's walk that back. Baker Brothers wanted to charge me $800 for the flange install $500 for the toilet install, and then they'd probably make me buy a new toilet for a few hundred instead of fixing that issue they didn't fix with my first toilet. The plumber I had do it... $345. That's over one thousand dollars less, likely $1200 less for the exact same job.

The blatant lying, scamming, and overcharging is inexcusable and I'm embarrassed for falling for it for so long.

Got a notification that we had a water leak but nothing in the house was leaking. We called baker brothers to come out thinking they could help. They charged us $400 to run an air compressor through my water line and go through my house with this stethoscope device. They didn't find the leak so they then said they had to charge another $1500 to change the valve of my water shut off to determine whether the leak is under my house or in the front yard. What bs and insane price gouging to not even help me! Now I'm more stressed and out that money for no reason.
