Bakenhaus was very professional and well priced. I called for an estimate, and was given a rough estimate, after sending images. I had them install a plug in for a Level 2 Tesla charger. Other companies wanted to charge me extra, because it was a Tesla or tell me that it would require extra work. The workers came and installed the plug in, during a 30 minute work call. They charged my card on their phone and everything was good to go!

We recently had the need for a light fixture to be replaced in our master bath shower. Living in an older home in Shepherd Park Plaza, we discovered the fixture was burned out and beyond my DIY abilities.

Called them on Tue afternoon, they were able to schedule a time on Thu afternoon.

The electrician they sent out, Eric was nothing short of awesome...on time, professional, courteous and efficient. He fixed the light quickly, and we added some extra work of an outlet that needed replaced. He was honest, earnest and a pleasure to do business with, and the cost was extremely reasonable.

I would highly recommend them and will use them for any future needs! Awesome job, thank you!!

Love these guys! We found Bakenhus here on Yelp while we lived in Oak Forest and since they were so close it made sense to give them a try. They are always on time, very competitive rates, and are just all around really nice guys. We have been calling on them for 4 years now and have never been disappointed. Even when we moved out here to Richmond they still come all the way out here whenever we need them. We are customers for life!

CenterPoint Energy contractor performed maintenance on our smart meter late one afternoon, found a burnt wire from the meter to the breaker box. CenterPoint pulled our meter leaving us without electricity in the middle of summer. Robert answered my frantic telephone call and said he would have someone out first thing in the morning. He pulled the required City permit and had the repairs done and brought the riser up to code the next day and CenterPoint restored the electricity.

Geoff, the electrician and his assistant showed up by 8 AM the next morning, were very polite and hard working. We will definitely used them again.

Referred to these guys by a dear friend who had seen strong recommendations on our neighborhood Facebook page. Part of my power was out and my breakers would not trip back into place. They came out within a couple of hours of my call, fixed the problem and didn't charge me near what I was quoted over the phone. Great experience and they have a customer for life!

Would definitely recommend! We were having several issues around our house and feared a major electrical problem. They came out and examined everything thoroughly and determined it was actually just a few small problems. They fixed them immediately and for a very fair price! Best experience I've ever had with an electrical repair company! It's that time of year when you string Christmas lights in ways that you shouldn't! I didn't tape the final exposed ends and when the sprinkler system came on, it shorted the outside GFCI outlet. I spoke to the owner, Robert, who sent over Eric with his apprentice, Markece, the very same day. Both gentlemen were very nice and professional. They checked out the issue and replaced the GFCI outlet. Lights are now back on! The price was very reasonable and was half of what another company quoted. I would definitely recommend this company and will use them again!

Very nice company! I had the kitchen switch plastic break off, so I looked on yelp for an electrician. Every other electrician I contacted wanted WAAAY more money. Robert, the owner, called me back with an extremely reasonable price. He sent Eric over with an apprentice- who took about 10 minutes to replace the switch. He was extremely nice and professional. We will for sure use them from now on. Previously, we had used ABC, but their prices are CRAZY for everything!
