We have used Joe Bajada and his team on multiple occasions now. Joe is probably the most professional and courteous contractor I have met! He is curious, enjoy his trade, strives to be the best and is not afraid of complicated projects that require high degree of problem solving. He always delivers and always in a respectful way. On top of that, the invoice is reasonable.

If you hire Joe you will quite literally get the best of the best, which means its a privilege. As with any other privilege, it comes at a cost, and in this case the cost could be longer response times than for some other less good contractors. I have found myself willing to wait every simple time and will do so for as long as Joe is willing to work on my projects.

After George had done some (good) work on a commercial building my family owns in San Mateo I felt confident to recommend him to a friend of mine in Menlo Park. Bad idea. After an initial inspection where he is extremely friendly and starts the job he disappears! After many unreturned calls my friend had to get me to phone him to finally return a phone call. His refusal to return phone calls makes you wonder what's going on with him. I felt so bad for getting my buddy mixed up with George I felt a duty to post this negative review.
Be warned- he will be peaches and cream in the beginning and then leave you high and dry.

Be warned, I had a terrible experience with Bajada Electric. I was upgrading my electrical panel box with a new box and all new breakers as my old panel was arching and starting to fail. The owner was very nice and knowledgeable about is work and I must say he did a good job. Here comes the but: He changed the box in one day so we were not left without power and this took months before he finally came out to do the job after repeatability calling him and hearing one excuse after another so I thought this was a one time thing, but boy was I wrong. He was coming back to install the ground rod in the ground and after calling and calling he finally came out weeks later so now the last step was to have the city inspector come out to approve it. I called Bajada Electric and begged him to call me back and set up a date with the city inspector but no return call for three weeks so I called and left a message telling him he must call me back today or else I will call the city and handle it myself. the inspector came out and was not happy at all the electrician would not show up. so, my opinion is do not do business with this company unless you want to get the run around and not have your work done in 9 months when it should only take a week to get everything done. Enough said and think twice about doing business with this company

How disappointing - we contacted him for appointment, arrived late due to traffic had a great appointment and told him we wanted to do business with him. Went out, purchased the items he needed, and he's never returned our numerous phone calls again. This is the type of service we all fear as consumers.

Bajada Electric is as good as it gets. Often with home repair and renovation the experience is hit or miss, and there's always bound to be some degree of disappointment. But not with the guys at Bajada Electric! They've replaced two sub panels, re-wired a large portion of my home, installed lighting, switches, electric heaters... they've made my house safe and comfortable. They've always been prompt, explain in detail the work they've completed, and leave the area spotless when done. I highly recommend Bajada Electric.
