We recently discovered some serious wiring issues in our attic that were done by a previous owner. Ken had a very flexible schedule and was able to come over on a Saturday, diagnose the problem, and had everything rewired in a matter of hours. He did a wonderful job. He was funny, courteous and very tidy as well. He volunteered to come back out if we found any other issues, and even followed up with us to make sure that everything was working properly.
His pricing beat out other electricians we had called (and his demeanor was nicer, too). I would definitely recommend Bailey for any electrical job, big or small.

We recently bought a home and we had some problems with our wiring. We had a socket that didn't work and some wiring issues. We were able to email our inspection report and Ken came out to do the repair work on Saturday morning. The socket problem was due to some bad ceiling fan installations from the prior owner which Ken tore down and redid. His level of quality was very high and everything worked great. His rate was also very competitive. I would highly recommend and plan to use him when I replace some other wiring issues we have.

Ken and his team are excellent electricians top to bottom. I found Ken by chance almost four years ago when he arrived to install a ceiling fan that I bought from Lowes. He ended up finding some major electrical issues with the old house that I just bought and helped me to understand why installing the fan I had bought was not a good idea as my wiring was in BAD shape. Long story short, Ken and his team ended up re-doing my entire electrical system (upgraded from knob & tube) and did a top notch job. He gave a very competitive bid, did exceptionally clean work and explained everything to me along the way.

At this point Ken has re done the electrical systems in two old (1910) houses for me and his work is always great. His guys are honest, bright, articulate and very helpful. They also do very clean work.

I always recommend Bailey to people I know and I would never use anyone else for anything electrical.

I cannot recommend Ken Bailey enough.

Having hired Ken twice in the past month (and having had a bad experience with another electrician), here are 5 reasons why Ken is awesome:
1) Flexible schedule. He works on Saturdays at his standard rate, which is great if you (like me) work long weekdays.
2) He's an excellent troubleshooter. Unlike two other electricians and SD&E, he figured out why my lights were flickering. It was a simple and relatively inexpensive solution, yet the cause eluded so many others.
3) He's about as artistic as an electrician can get. He installed six can lights in my ceiling. He was incredibly precise with his measurements, so the lights are exactly where they should be. He only cut into the ceiling what was absolutely necessary, so we didn't even have to patch or paint.
4) He's a really nice guy and very funny. If you live downtown, don't be surprised if he comes back from lunch and brings you half a chicken from Saffron Chicken in Mission HIlls.
5) Family business. As best I can tell, it's him (and his nephew on bigger jobs) and his wife running the scheduling.

He was recommended to me by Fan Diego (and Angie's List) to install a ceiling fan, but he can do pretty much any job I throw at him.
