I had a water heater installed. They were the most competitively priced. The first company that gave me an estimate, I got a used salesman vibe from. He wanted to charge me 9000 for two 50 gallon water heaters.! I got a tankless with bacon for much less than what others were quoting. They were quick, efficient, respectful, and on time. The heater seems to be working well. I will definitely use again if I have another plumbing need.

Someone working at our house stripped the outdoor frost-proof faucet on Friday afternoon. Another plumbing company said ""see you Monday"" (Easter weekend), and then we called Bacon. Cody from Bacon showed-up on Saturday, found a creative alternative to breaking-out the brick to replace the entire assembly, and had it repaired quick!

Bacon Plumbing was amazing. Great service for a very difficult problem and best prices. Highly recommended.

I'm not certain why they have so many bad reviews. We were introduced to them through AHS, our home warranty company. They were professional throughout, from their dispatchers to the plumber that came out to visit.

I hired these folks to rough in a small apartment ($4400). I did not have a set of plans but I was on the job with them and was very specific about what I wanted and where I wanted it. They put the plumbing in the wrong place for my clawfoot tub and now I can't install the fixtures & I didn't see it until after they left. I called numerous times and the last person they sent out (Nathan) stated, "" that won't work"", I knew that. When I finally got someone to speak (Jason) to me (the receptionist answering the phone was very good) they wanted to charge me another $200. He apologized but stated, ""I have to go with what the boss tells me"". This company was recommended to me by a co-worker who is the owners cousin. I wish I had read these reviews before I did business with them. I've known my co-worker for almost 20 yrs so he's not the one trying pull one over, but he apparently doesn't know his cousin very well. I will never do business with this company again and I encourage you to look else where if you need plumbing work done.

Most recent and first time experience with this plumbing company. Great staff - they contacted me immediately after the work was assigned out by the home warranty company. They kept me apprised throughout the process including up to the minute details of technician arrival. The technician did a spectacular job replacing the garbage disposal. Work was completed in less than 20 minutes and he tested everything thoroughly.
Overall an outstanding experience!!! I do recommend this company.

We were assigned Bacon Plumbing by AHS warranty. Our garbage disposal sprung a leak and our entire kitchen sink and dishwasher hasn't worked since July 4th. Today is July 11. They took a day to respond to the home warranty request. So Tuesday they said the earliest they could come was Friday the 10th from 2-6p. They were supposed to call that morning to confirm. They didn't we had to call. We found out they plumber was still on a slab leak call. Then had a job in McKinney then would come to our house in Allen. Probably closer to 4p. Nothing. 6p comes and goes. still heard nothing and we tried to call and the office was closed with a machine. No one ever called or anything. Terrible. We burned them with AHS and already have a new company that has already called and scheduled the appointment.

lease, if you see this name come up under your home warranty company for service or if you are looking for a plumber, do not call this company. They were sent through my home warranty company, and they had to come three times and each time they said they fixed the stoppage. The leaks/floods kept happening so they came for a wax seal fix and they said I had tree limbs breaking my cast iron pipes underneath the house which will cause a flood and WITH home warranty it's still $7,000 to repair a slab leak. Recommended I call my home insurance and file a claim and they would handle it with them and explain why coverage is needed and provide full reports. Days later, no report but I filed a claim. I paid $500 for the camera/investigative work which wasn't covered by my warranty... No response to request for records to give insurance. Finally found someone who explained the plumber who came to my house was fired and they would gladly send someone else at no charge. I asked that they get there early, as adjuster would arrive at 1.... No problem, they say and SO for inconvenience. 12:30 arrives and still no plumber. Turns out he;s running late on a ""big job"" and they never said this would be free and there's nothing they can do -- it's like the previous conversation was forgotten. Adjuster arrives and of course denies claim because there is no plumber's recommendation or proof from camera finding. However, the adjuster says now that they and I know about the problem I have a ""due diligence"" to fix it as a homeowner because if house does flood -- which it will -- and I didn't attempt to fix a problem I knew about, they won't cover it. So essentially I have to fix it now and have no coverage in any capacity. And I STILL don't even know if Bacon Plumbing's assessment was correct -- this guy who got fired...what he a fraud? Only way to find out is pay more money to have another plumber come out and run a camera and assess. So Bacon Plumbing robbed me of $500 for the initial camera call out which produced nothing, lost home insurance coverage on what would definitely be upwards of $15,000 job, AND is costing me more to have another plumber come out and assess problem. Let's not forget that they never fixed the problem on the first few times they came out at $75 a pop. I cannot and will not ever recommend this company -- they basically took my money and ran and tried to take stab at getting more with what may be a fraudulent report/find. We'll never know because they won't hand over their findings. I'm not sure why American Home Shield would align themselves with this type of company, and I've let them know too in order to protect their other customers. The workers are very unprofessional, unresponsive, uncommunicative, and no one ever seems to know what the person before them says. I highly recommend looking elsewhere -- even if you have to pay more -- at least you'll know what you are paying for, get decent service, and hopefully have a problem fixed -- I got none of that with Bacon Plumbing. Bad experience in every aspect. I have requested they refund my money from the initial visit for the camera work -- at least in part -- If they do at least then I will have some faith that they at least want to do the right thing -- even if they can't.

worst plumbing company in the DFW area. their practices are fraudulent and forcefully and deceitfully attempt to extort money out of people specially from AHS customers who they are abusing for the benefit of themselves and the AHS with their approval. demanded $850.00 for installation of a water heater which was to be replaced by the AHS, but did not indicate any installation fee on the work sheet. later we discovered that they conspired with AHS to call the installation modification so the AHS can get out of the warranty and payment of installation charge which every company in DFW charges about $500-550. they lied to us when we asked about the itemize list of charges, and sent us a list supposedly coming from AHS while their crooked technician named Cory wrote the itemized list, that took two day to get, then they called claimed that unnecessary items listed can be left out but if they used existing items that need not to be changed or replaced will void their 1 year warranty, and the manufacturer's warranty, and the AHS warranty if we do not do exactly what they demand. after calling the AHS over 5 days, they said first that no the contractor is wrong, and we do not have to use their listed items for installation if they are not needed like a drain pan, and drain line that currently is working, or gas valve that is working, or forcing to change the water lines to flex line while the city code does not require it and copper line are just fine. AHS after talking to them again called back and said that we must use only this crooked contractor and must pay them what they ask, if we want our water heater replaced refusing to send another contractor, and now agreeing with Bacon Plumbing to force us to pay for items not needed to be replaced and while they bacon plumbing is refusing to list the installation charge which has to be paid by the AHS as modification
If you are a AHS customer beware of both the AHS and Bacon Plumbing. do not set up an appointment with them and call AHS back to get another contractor assigned to your plumbing needs.

Bacon was assigned to address my plumbing issue through AHS. I was originally concerned after seeing such poor reviews on Yelp but figured I'd give them a chance. I had a leak in the faucet hose and the plumber told me that I needed to replace the entire unit and that it could not be repaired (which I later learned was not true). He also kept referring to the ""faucet"" as a ""sink"". He told me, ""Sometimes, sinks just wear out."" After I asked him to clarify how that was possible, he realized he was accidentally calling the faucet a sink, but then kept referring to it as a sink the entire rest of the appointment. Bizarre. For the second issue I was having, he told me he'd have to schedule a follow up visit to come back and get on my roof and look into the toilet vent for an additional $200, and that it was not covered through AHS. Considering my very low confidence with the plumber at this point in time, I did not reschedule the visit. So for my $75 service fee, I was told I need to replace my ""sink"". Will not repeat business.
