Cannot say enough about Backup Electric. Alberto was very easy to communicate with on the Yelp app. He gave me what I believe was the most fair deal. He sent out on of his electricians, Luis, to install my ceiling fan. Unfortunately, Luis got sick the day he was suppose to come out, but Alberto was communicative and gave me multiple options. When he came out the next day, Alberto was on the phone with Luis throughout the installation to ensure smooth installation. When a problem did arise, Alberto again gave me multiple options. These guys are talented, respectful, and conscientious. They have my full endorsement. If any other electrical problems arise, I will be giving them a call.

I had can lights installed on the front and sides of my home. The brightness and hue of the lights matched perfectly with my existing porch lights and ground landscaping lights. The lights are programmable to turn on automatically through a switch installed in my garage. The lighting looks very beautiful; not too bright and gives a good accent to the stone exterior of my home, as well as provide extra security, especially on the sides of the house. I am very impressed with their customer service and installation. They even came out the next day after the installation to adjust the intensity of the lights, since I wanted the lights set on the warmest/ dimmest setting. The price for the installation was very reasonable and competitive with other companies. I highly recommend the services of this company.

I was using my 1,000 kW vacuum sealer in the garage and it tripped my circuit breakers. Albert was able to come the next day, a Sunday morning, and diagnose the problem. It was a simple resetting of the breaker, but I wanted a dedicated 20 amp breaker and outlet for the machine. He was able to work with the drywall and finish the job very cleanly and quickly. It took about an hour and was $140, including supplies, for the last minute job. He was super nice and friendly to boot. Highly recommended!

We are generally do it yourselfers and don't hire contractors.. but when I needed to have can lights installed in a 15 foot ceiling without attic access - we decided to call Alberto at Backup.. and what a find he is!!
