Company Overview

B and O Electric Company was founded in 1974 by Clyde Ognio and Marion Bennett. Initially, the company focused on projects for churches and school expansions. During the late 1970s, Marion Bennett took a job at General Motors, which resulted in him leaving the company. On March 22, 1984, B and O Electric Company was incorporated in Georgia as B and O Electric Company Inc. As we expanded, we realized our interest leaned more towards industrial projects than our previous work. Equipped with the right knowledge and personnel, we shifted our focus and quickly started handling controls for food plants. We have worked on control systems for various applications, including dry material storage, conveying, dough thickness, packaging, and conveyor controls. We utilized equipment like programmable logic controllers, variable frequency drives, and soft starters to implement these systems.
