Company Overview

In 1974, Clyde Ognio and Marion Bennett established B and O Electric Company. Initially, the company focused on projects for churches and school expansions. Marion Bennett left the company in the late 1970s to work for General Motors. The company was officially incorporated as B and O Electric Company Inc. in Georgia on March 22, 1984. As we grew, we discovered a stronger interest in industrial projects over our earlier work. Equipped with the right knowledge and personnel, we shifted our focus and quickly started handling controls for food plants. Our control projects have included systems for dry material storage, conveying, dough thickness, packaging, and conveyor management, among others. These systems were implemented using equipment such as programmable logic controllers, variable frequency drives, and soft starters.
