B & O Electric Company
Company Overview
In 1974, Clyde Ognio and Marion Bennett established B and O Electric Company. The early work of the company involved church and school projects. In the late 1970s, Marion Bennett accepted a position with General Motors, leading to his departure from the company. B and O Electric Company became incorporated under Georgia law on March 22, 1984. With our growth, we found ourselves more drawn to industrial work than the projects we had undertaken before. With our skilled team and knowledge, we ventured into industrial work, particularly controls for food processing facilities. We have worked on control systems for various applications, including dry material storage, conveying, dough thickness, packaging, and conveyor controls. These systems were implemented using equipment such as programmable logic controllers, variable frequency drives, and soft starters.
