I purchased a generac generator from a dealer that had a 12 week backlog for installation. Since I used B&D plumbing for the gas line work on my install I decided to go with B&D electric for the install. According to Generac website they are certified.
The install went well but the first generator exercise day, the generator threw an error code. i called and they sent out a very nice technician who seemed to fix the problem. Two weeks later, the generator did the same thing.
When I called this time I was told by Zack (manager) that they do not do service work on units they did not directly sell. (This was NEVER mentioned previously). When I tried to ask him who could do potential warranty work on the unit, he rudely told me merry Christmas and hung up on me.

Beware - find another generac dealer.

2 guys showed up at the property barely wanted to say 2 words..one stood there and looked for 15 mins and never said not 1 word.. asked the other guy if he needed me to unlock the house he responded "" uhh I don't even know what I'm here for"". I asked "" you specialized in electricity right?"" I called the company to check the electrical thats why your here. They both looked like crackheads wasn't sure if they even worked for the company.. looked over the property acted like they didn't want the job and said he would send a quote and never did.. needless to say i went with another company to rewire my property.
