I have served as an electrician in the Lowcountry for 15+ years and I always worked for local companies. During October 2017, I was injured on the job and was unable to work until the beginning of 2019 after I healed from my injuries. At that point I started my own business and have continued ever since. Every customer I have worked for has had a great testimonial and can vouch for my work.
Hi, I am Ryan Aydlette and I run Aydlette Electrical Services. As a lifelong Charleston resident, who was born and raised here all my life. At 20 years old, I started my journey into the electrical field as an electrician's helper and I never looked back. Now, at the age of 43, I take pride in assisting my fellow Charlestonians and surrounding neighbors tackle and solve all of your power needs and concerns.

Jan B.We contacted the electrician because two breakers in our mobile home went out. The refrigerstor went out, TV, computer (I work remotely), and several other appliances. He stayed in contact on Wednesday 2/14, however, we had dinner plans and he was not leaving to come to our house from Charleston until 6 PM. We requested he come Thursday. He made it around four, was here 15 minutes , changed two breakers and charged us $200! Today, (Saturday 2/17) once again the same thing happened. Clearly it was not a breaker issue. We have a 200 mile drive home and have to leave tomorrow. We will have to make another trip, get a reputable electrician and get the problem repaired. we shut everything down, waited 30 minutes and it came back on? In our absence, the refrigerator may go out, or worse. Ryan was very nice, but that was an expensive visit for no resolution. I would recommend someone in Surfside or Garden City if you have an electrical problem...
Nancy C.The installation of two can lights and two sconces was done well, however two years later water starts dripping from my case opening under where the lights were installed. I called my roofer and lo and behold he found a 2"" hole in my roof, perfectly drilled by a hole saw...plugged with the piece drilled out and sealed with sealer.... Aydlette never told us he drilled through our roof and when I emailed him and sent pictures he never responded. Now it is on to civil court to recoup what I had to pay to have my roof fixed and worry about inside wall damage. He may be a good electrician but he is not an upright contractor you can trust.
