Company Overview

While we tackle a wide range of jobs, AW Contracting concentrates on renovating and repairing historic houses.

I launched this company part-time, renovating a small grocery store and several apartments in New Orleans. After a year, I was fully engaged in various projects, both commercial and residential. After relocating to Texas in late 2005, I broadened my services to include plumbing and electrical work. I spent many years servicing homes and businesses throughout southern and Central Texas. Moving to Mississippi in 2021 allowed me to enhance my family’s home life while reestablishing my business.

From childhood, watching shows like This Old House on weekends, I have always dreamed of constructing and renovating homes. As a teen and young adult, I gained experience across multiple trades. I used summers to build fences, decks, roofs, floors, siding, and other structures. I pursued formal education, earning credentials in locksmithing, plumbing, and electrical work. I have experience with both new builds and renovations in residential and commercial settings. Projects range from schools and restaurants to leased units and historic residences. I am skilled in almost all trades and will be upfront if I need to consult or hire a specialist. I strive to guarantee that every client is pleased with the results of my work.
