We engaged Jonathan to rework our existing home video system. He's terrific. He is very professional and polite; two key ingredients when you have someone into your home. He did a fantastic job and has been back out to help us when things weren't working perfectly (even though it was our fault). We wish we found him earlier.

We decided to install a security camera system and an intercom system at our 12 unit condo building. We went through the process of interviewing 4 possible contractors and decided to go with Jonathan and AVS for the combination of knowledge, service, and price. We ended up installing a security camera system that included 9 cameras with a dvr recorder. Excellent clarity during the day and night. We also installed a video intercom system. The great thing here is that AVS installed the new main unit downstairs and the units in every condo using the existing, original wiring so no major re-wiring project needed. Again excellent clarity of the video and functionality of the system. There was a challenge with the power supply of the main unit and AVS came up with a solution that was elegant and not costly.
The project recently wrapped up and we are very excited at the results. The work was done promptly with attention to detail. They worked with us on scheduling and other challenges that came up. We are very pleased and would highly recommend them for this type of work.

He really does a fantastic job and he's a professional in his career. Jonathan knows what he's doing and he's a nice guy as well. We asked him to install an intercom for us. There was no need to install another monitor for it. He just downloaded the app on our mini iPod which was for the house system. He also did the wiring stuff to the gate since there was no wire running to the gate. highly recommend him for all home automations and structured wirings.

During the work, they were respectful and tidy always cleaning up after themselves and not causing more damage than was necessary. I cannot say enough good things about Jonathon! My internet connection at home was both slow and intermittent. He fixed the problem by installing an enterprise grade wifi system and now I have blazing fast speed and it's remarkably consistent. He installed routers inside my ceilings over three stories and did some slick behind-the-scenes Cat 6 cabling. Here is the best part: he then helped me fix my security camera system, upgraded the WiFi adapters in my PCs, replaced and fortified an electric socket, installed a 240 volt outlet to charge my Tesla and probably some other tasks along the way. None of these services were up-sold by him. I just kept finding new things and in each case Jonathon had the expertise and experience to get the job done.

I cannot say enough about how professional he is or how great his work product is. He is punctual and will stay late to get the job done. The truest and best compliment I can give him is this: without a doubt, Jonathon works on projects as if he were doing them for his own home! He cares that much. He will go above and beyond for you!

Jonathan did a great job installing cable/satellite/internet wiring in my house. He showed up on time the day of the job and was able to successfully run wires inside my walls so I could get cable and internet hooked up. He also hooked up 2 WiFi hotspots upstairs and downstairs so the wireless internet picks up anywhere in the house. He also wall mounted 2 of my TV's. Everything works great. I recommend him for any of your home audio/visual needs, he is very knowledgeable and can navigate thru challenges.

Found Jonathan through Yelp, when I did a mass estimate request. He was the only one to reply with any semblance of ""yea, I think this guy may know what he's doing.""

He was timely, and professional. That was just the beginning. The best part is when I quickly got the sense he knew what he was talking about. I mean DEFINITELY. And he had this innate desire or yearning to do things right.

My issue was a long ethernet cable I had to run to facilitate a studio room of mine. The people I had do it the first time cut corners (corners I didn't realize at the time). Jonathan knew this immediately and proposed two things: doing it the way that would quickly fix the issue and.... the right way.

It was a no brainer.

He did everything he said he would do. Half day's work? Check. My internet speed would blow away my existing one (before it deteriorated)? Check. No hidden costs or even upsells. As a matter of fact, it was ME who did the upselling! I wanted some concrete cut to facilitate my penchant for clean lines and good looks and he accommodated with no questions asked.

I tend to be pretty finicky when it comes to contractors. So many of them take on too many jobs and over exert their schedule, leaving you in the dust of a mediocre job. Not Jonathan. He is quick, but efficient. No whining; his work ethic is high.

I'm telling you, AVS Logic is cool, kind and diligent. And as long as it took me to find them (I promise I researched a lot of others), I can't more highly recommend.

Home automation and AV system set can be a big racket. I've been through several contractors who either disappeared or who created systems so over complicated that it was almost a guarantee you would need them as lifetime members of the family (only really expensive ones).
I read some reviews on AVS and took a chance. Jonathan communicates clearly and does what he says he'll do. If he can't solve something immediately he does the research needed and gets it done. He didn't charge me for what I'm sure were a lot of hours of research he needed to do to solve some of our issues. He goes out of his way to find less expensive and smarter ways of doing things.
I trust Jonathan and will continue to use his services for all of our AV needs.

I really can't say enough good things about Jonathan. It feels so good to be treated honestly and professionally, especially after a series of truly terrible experiences with other companies.
