He set up our home WiFi network with various signal connection points for maximum speed and connectivity. It was a smooth process and I already spoke with him about coming back to set up a video security surveillance system for our house.

We are looking to do some upgrades on our access gate. AVS Smart Systems came out and the tech, Jonathan, was on time and knew exactly what we need for the various upgrades. He even researched the system before he arrived as it's older and not very common. He explained our options and once we decide on a path forward we will definitely use AVS for this and any other maintenance. Really nice guy too.

I had an old Lutron set up and Jonathan came over and straightened out the system so it worked with my phone. He is super knowledgeable and really precise.

He is also took me through all the old systems in my house and showed me how they could be updated and controlled simply through a Lutron system.

I've worked with a lot of different people and Jonathan is the best. Excellent! I would give 6 stars if I could!

First off I've wasted a lot of time trying to get this company to book an appointment and countless reaching out and having to take time just to lock something down. With that said after finally getting a date down I was able to get my outlet and security system installed.

I had contacted this company again to have lighting installed in my bathroom with crown molding. I scheduled an appointment and when the owner came installed the molding and left half way thru to go to another job. The molding had cracks and so many nails itn it and the work was horrible done. My ceiling had scratches everywhere which I had to repaint, and I spent an extra $300 to replace the existing crown molding. It was after all that I was informed that he had never done that type of job before. Would have appreciated the heads up so I could have saved the extra cost of damage. Mind you I had started before the appointment with video and photo reference that I had molding that needed to go up with the lighting and didn't install it because I wasn't sure if it had to be done together for proper wiring

Even despite all that I was polite and said I appreciate th effort made but I need to have the job redone and would love to have just the lighting installed. Not making much of the damage done. Well he cancelled on me and said he doesn't want the job. So now I'm out $300 dollars and time wasted in communication.

I have never hired a handyman man or any task person that leaves a home mid project because of another booking with his current project in such disarray and damage. So $300 dollars later and another search for someone to complete the task. Don't go with this company unless you wanna waste time booking this company and chance having damage and a cancelled job mid project with extra costs.

I forgot to put this review up when Jonathan first did my install over 2 years ago. I hired him in 2021 to run Ethernet drops to all my rooms as well as exterior Ethernet drops for PoE cameras.

Jonathan is one of a kind. Professional. Knowledgeable. Very friendly. And a problem solver. He didn't have his normal helper but still finished the job in 3 days. Over 20 drops fished. 5 cameras installed. 2 wireless access points. In a heat wave nonetheless. He terminated all the drops into a patch panel and even installed my media rack.

He did such a great job I asked if he could also run speaker wire for a home theatre which he did in 2 days.

Two years later and everything is still working great. He was always on time, prompt, worked hard. Jonathan is also just a great guy to talk to. There were days I was at the house and it was awesome to learn about his background and his family. If I ever have any electrical, home theatre, or network projects I'll be hiring AVS Smart Systems!

I called when my ring camera went offline and wouldn't reconnect . Jonathan was extremely helpful in trying to troubleshoot the problem and went on FaceTime to try and help . When we were unable to solve the issue he said he could come the next morning . I was able to fix the issue myself a little later, but will definitely call Jonathan for electrical issues non the future.
