If you need an electrician, Eric is your guy! Prior to hiring Eric, I asked 8 electricians for a quote. Of those 8, only 6 responded and 4 actually showed. I walked them through the work and in turn all 4 broke it down for me. They all submitted their quotes, but it was Eric's which was by far the lowest bid. At first I was hesitant since his bid was off by a whole lot. However, he was the one who made me feel most comfortable with the explanation and his bid was the most professional (returned the same day within a few hours, in email/word format, follow up call to assure we received it and to assure it was clear and concise, but also each job had a break down of cost!). I decided to take a chance, though I didn't believe I was taking a risk since I was made to feel comfortable from the get go. I hire him on, he begins work a couple days later and just like that, the work was done! Eric is a very efficient worker, wasted no time in reassuring me where everything was going and if anything came up he would make sure I was involved. If you're looking for an electrician, might I recommend to you that you include Eric in your bids for estimates. It'll save you lots of time, energy and some good money! People always say, you get what you pay for when you go with the cheapest bid, but in this case not only did I get everything that I wanted but so much more at the best price hands down! Here is a list of the work he performed:

1. He replaced and centered my dining room light fixture
2. He added a remote controlled ceiling fan/light fixture to our living room that had no existing fixture or wiring for that matter
3. He installed a 240v outlet for an appliance
4. He installed/relocated a power outlet for a wall mounted tv and several appliances
5. He inspected/replaced and installed a whole new sensor motion light for my front door, back door and garage which didn't have one before.
6. He did all this with minimal opening to our walls which we will benefit from in not having to spend so much to repair the openings.

If you are looking for an electrician, look NO MORE!!! Eric Avila, owner and electrician of Avila Electric, is an excellent electrician. He is very professional, friendly and is very knowledgeable. I hired Eric to install recess lighting and a spot light in my living room. He did a PHENOMENAL job! It's absolutely beautiful. He gets the job done in HALF the time other electricians do. I was so pleased with his work that I hired him to do more work around my home. I asked him to install receptacles in my front yard and to place lights in my garden and trees. My front yard looks amazing at night. I continue to receive many compliments from neighbors, family and friends. I also had Eric install a ceiling fan in my backyard patio. Again - beautiful work. Words can't express how pleased I am with his work. I will always use him for any electrical work I need done.

OK so we have put off getting electrical work done in our house for quite some time now, partly because we knew it would be a hassle finding a great electrician.

So about a week ago we began the task checking this off our list of getting the electrical work done. We contacted one electrician, he responded back but never followed up with a time he could come out. We contacted another electrician... sent him over pictures of what needed to be done and never heard back.

On our third attempt after the first two had flaked out we contacted Avila's electric. Eric responded promptly and we made an appointment for him to come out.
